28. Lost

Madara POV:

It had been two days ever since that day.

Akasumi is completely out of danger but is advised complete bed rest. If it wasn't for the sake of the baby she is holding within herself, she would have never done it. But now she has no choice.

Shanaya. For the last two days I haven't been able to sleep properly. How can I? When I don't know where Shanaya is? Or in which condition she is?

I just hope that if she was founded by that clan, they were nice people.

I chuckled. Who am I kidding? There are no such people in this era.

The only hope sustains that she shouldn't tell them about the fact that she stays with the Uchihas. It could cause a big trouble this way.

Well she won't say anything. I trust her. And she is not a fool.

I myself had tried to find her since the past two days. Just this morning when I was going to another village from a village I have just inquired about the attack.

The best way is to inquire in the villages which are on the way to reach the Hagoromo compound. Any clan who had decided to attack them must have stayed in any of those villages, or have buyed food, weapons etc.

So me and Kei split the count of  villages into two and inquired different villages.

When I was going to another village I received Kei's messenger bird carrying a message for me. He told me to stop my job and return to the compound. He hadn't written the reason and I could already guess that it was because of security purpose. He is a very cautious man after all.

So I returned to the compound immediately hoping that he would be already there but it wasn't the case. He hadn't arrived yet and I have been waiting for two hours and still no response.

I just have to be patient. I can already guess that he had received some words on her.

"Madara sama" A loud yell brought me out of my thoughts.

T-That's Kei's voice. Without wasting another second I dashed out of the house to his side. He was standing in the training fields waiting for me. Izuna too came out with Akasumi. Mother, father and others too.

"So what it is?" I asked him hurriedly.

"She is alive." Was his reply.

I knew that. I knew that she was still alive. I have refused to believe any crap which says that she is dead.

"I know that already. Say more."

"She's in the Senju compound." My eyes widened at his sentence. Senju. Of all the clan why it has to be Senju. If they know that she lives with us, then. Ah!!

"Why did she go with them?" I shouted.

"I said that she is in there. I never said that she went there on her own." He replied calmly.

"Are you saying that they took her by force. Those Senju Bastards... Do they have a death wish." I yelled out loud.

Kei sighed. "I never said that too. Stop presuming things all on your own. What's wrong with you?"

"Ok ok just tell me already." I said in a more calmer tone than I actually was.

"Hagoromo have kidnapped Senju children. So the main reason of the attack was to rescue them. She was held captive over there. When the Senju's attacked the compound she was there but unconscious. At that point she was still alive so they take her along with them." He explained.
