Shawn's POV

About what seemed like 30 minutes after I fell asleep, I was woke up to the sound of footsteps and something that sounds like a plastic bag being pick up. Still laying on the couch in the same position I fell asleep in–which was with my body face outside of the couch. I open one eye to see if anyone was around me, and to see that there was no one in front of me, I quietly bolt up from the couch.

"Where's a baseball bat when you need one." I very quietly whisper to myself.

The sound of small, panicked footsteps was still in the air, and as they continued, I looked for anything I could hit possible intruder with. I looked in the kitchen That was attached to the living room only to have no luck, as i was about to go check the living room for anything the noises came to a sudden halt. I froze immediately.

Nothing but completely and utter silence fell through the air. With every second of silence I grew more and more  terrified that the intruder found out that I was awake.

Still looking at the area the sound was coming from–now is complete silent. I begin to tiptoe my way over to my bag–only to be stopped to a halt once again by the sound of footsteps making its way over to the living room.

Without thinking– full of fear and nervousness, I leap to behind the kitchen counter, thankfully without any noise. As soon as I heard the unknown footsteps make contact with the wooden floor of the kitchen I freeze up. Stoping my breathing. My blinking. Completely froze, scared almost like  if I blink the mysterious person would hear, and find me.

The footsteps begin to make their way over to where I am, and without thinking I prepare myself to tackle this person. Hoping to god it's not Andrew, or a Studio Producer.

The footsteps are, what sounds to be at least 5 feet away from entering the kitchen. I get myself into a squatting position to pounce at the person and shake all the fear away from my mind.

1.2.3. The second the person steps into the kitchen, I throw myself at them. Pushing onto them and tumbling onto the hard wood.

"Who are you and why are you here!?" I scream still not knowing even the gender. When I was tackling the unknown person, they let out a high-pitched scream. Very similar to a girls.

After I get ahold of the persons arms, and hold them above their head as I straddle the person keeping their legs still. I get to get a look of the mysterious persons face, while they continued to squirm and squeal.

Shit. It's a girl. The girl is still squirming, trying to get out of my grip—as I continue to just get a better look at her face. And without any success I see tears running down her face and instantly release her and stand up at the same time.

She pushes herself away from me, whimpering, and her back hitting a wall that wasn't the far behind her. She trembles with fear and still has tears rushing down her face as she takes small shaky breaths.

I stare in awe, of what I just did. A huge  wave of guilt crashes down on top of me and I suddenly feel absolutely terrible with myself. I stumble backwards still looking at her terrified state, only ending to have to hold myself up by the counter of the kitchen bar island. Still in shock, forgetting about how I was scared of  footsteps before. Now scared of myself.

I begin to slowly walk over to her, holding my hands up, and shaking my head at my actions. As I begin to near her she starts to frantically push herself back against the wall as if the wall was going to make her get farther away from me. I stop my walking as she stares in absolute fear at me, she looks to her side, and I know she was about to me a B-line for the door. I can't let her. I have to do something to help her. I just basically attacked her, and I still don't know what she's doing here.

I sprint over the the walk way the leads to the front entrance–blocking it so she can't get out. She just pushes her back, further away from my direction once again, and now pushing herself into the corner of the room.

"Hey, hey, hey.... I'm not going to hurt you" I say at a hushed tone. She freezes at my voice, almost scared like if I was going to say something bad. I begin to walk over to her again, her not moving this time. As I'm only a couple of feet away from her, I crouch down, keeping my distance, still not knowing anything about her.

She has her hair covering her face so I couldn't see her face clearly yet, and has her knees pulled to her chest.

She looked so vulnerable.  Completely and utterly vulnerable. And it killed me knowing that I just did that to her. Shes still staring at me, her tears seemed to have stopped and her breathing in beginning to slow down to normal.

"I'm not going to to hurt you, please. What do you want me to do for you to stand up so we can talk?" I plead, only wanting to know if she's okay.

She lifts her head up a little more, hair still covering half her face, making it hard for me to notice any of her face. She whispers something that wasn't Audible for me to hear.

"What was that?" I ask still in a soft voice trying to sound as friendly as possible.

She opens her mouth to repeat what she said.
"Why.........
