It's been 5 years since I left Liverpool. That means it's summer 1965. Ever since I left back then I've never been back to visit. I've been so busy with work as a journalist, I didn't find any time to go and see family and friends.
To be honest, I dearly miss them, and I always wondered how they're doing.
But one thing is always on my mind- the lads. I always wondered how thier band is doing, if they've become the ones they wanted to be.

A few months after I left, I began to settle down into my flat and started to find a decent job for myself.
A month later, I found myself a local newspaper job to do to live by. I had such a great time there. They were all so nice there, I always loved going to work when I had to go.
About two years later, I began to write columns that I found pretty entertaining. Everyone was pleased with them, and that's how I got a sudden offer from Times Magazine to work there. I was so honored to be getting an offer, so as soon as I could answer, I did, and about two weeks later, I was thier new employee.
That's where I work until today, and it's an amazing job. It's not too far from my flat, I just have to walk through Central Park to get there which is a few minute walk.

As I was heading over there today, I stopped by the newsstand like I do every day.
" 'Morning, Sally!" I chirped. Sally's the owner of the newsstand there, and since I daily go there, she knows me pretty well. "Good morning, Dear!" She hollered. "What are ya lookin' for today?"
"Well, do you have the newest Times?" I asked. "I think we do, let me take a look honey!" She said with a smile as she went to look for the newest release of the paper.
When she came back, she had the paper in the hands. "Hope you'll enjoy it! It seems like there's some new info about those four boys!" I took the magazine into my hands with a smile. "Oh I noticed that they're everywhere these days! I'm looking forward to read it. What do I owe you, Sal?" I asked as I started to take out my wallet.
"Oh, it's fine, hun, it's a gift from me." She said as she winked at me.
"Oh thank you, Sally, Dear! I'll be back tomorrow! Bye now!" I waved to her as I left. "Okay, hun, see you then!"

"Good morning, Anna, how's the new column going?" My manager, Adam, asked with a mug of coffee in his hand.
" 'Morning, Adam. It's going great! Almost finished. I saw the paper today and it turned out really nice!"
"Really? Well I'm glad you like it." He took a sip of his drink. Turning away, he stopped in his tracks to talk to me once more. "Oh, and by the way, I want the column finished by tomorrow! We gotta start working on the rest of the magazine."
"Understood, sir!" I saluted

Lunch came by pretty quickly, and as soon as it did, my colleague and best friend, Laura, hurriedly scampered to me.
"Anna! Anna! Hurry up! It's lunchtime already and you're still sitting behind that desk, working your ass off!" She practically shouted.
"Okay, okay. I'm coming! Don't need to get your knickers in a twist..." I told her with a smirk on my face.

Once we got to the break room and sat down on our usual spots, Laura started to ramble about something again with newspaper in her hand.
"Oh my god, did you see how handsome these lads are? I've never seen anything like it!" I rolled my eyes at her nonsense, but took a look just to make myself look interested. "Oh Laura, if you long so much for a guy like one of them, why don't you stop dreaming and face reality? You should get a guy for yourself. It would only do you good." I told her with a wink.
"Anna, don't you realise that it's not that easy? I can't just walk up to the poor man and ask him to marry me!" I laughed at what she was trying to explain to me. She always knew how to amuse me with her rambling.
"Anyways," She started, "I was thinking if you wanted to go to a club or something this Friday night."
I thought for a minute. It wouldn't be too bad.to go to a pub, right? Maybe I'd even finally find someone decent enough for me...
I let out a sigh, "Okay, I'll go." Laura already started to get over excited "but there's one problem- I don't have anything to wear."
"Oh don't worry, Dear!  I'm sure we'll find you something!" She patted my shoulder.
"Hey Laura? Could I take a look at those boys for a sec?" I blushed a bit, since I knew how that would've sounded like. She just smirked at me, but handed me the paper.
I looked at the four faces smiling at me. I knew that I saw them from somewhere, but I couldn't put my finger quite on it. Heck, it could've been because they've been on every single paper lately..

They must be some kind of weirdos since they spelled the bug's name wrong.

"I've missed you so much, love." He whispered into my ear as I laid my head on his bare chest.
"I missed you even more... Don't ever leave, I wouldn't bare the pain." I whispered. "You won't have to bear anything because I'm staying right here, I'm not moving. But I want you to promise me that you won't go back." I simply nodded my head, not wanting to let go of his warm embrace.
"I love you so much, my dearest Anna." He told me as his lips touched mine.
"I love you, too, John. And I always will."

I woke up, realising I was all wet from the sweat that I had shed.
My heart was racing.
What was that dream supposed to mean?
I couldn't possibly be in love with John if I haven't seen him for over 5 years! Even after all that he did!
I had to calm down.
"It's only a dream, Anna. No need to panic." I reassured myself.
I laid back down, closing my eyes, but my mind kept going back to that one thing.

This was going to be a long night.
