The next morning

I couldn't sleep last night because of the fact that I didn't have John by my side. It was a terrible night though. I kept shifting and turning. Oh, if only I could move in with John.
Today is Friday. That means I'll be meeting John tonight. I told him I'll meet him after the show, but it wouldn't hurt him if I'll surprise him and go there before, now, would it? I wonder what he would say if I did that...
I decided I'll be going to their show, and I'll make sure that John won't see me. I can't wait to finally see him.

7.00 pm

7pm. That means I have only an hour left before the show starts. I took a shower a few hours ago, so I don't have to deal with that anymore. I started to get dressed and put my makeup on. I put on a striped black and white skirt with a white t-shirt. My leather jacket finished the outfit with some black flats, too. I looked at myself in the mirror and started to make a cat's eye on my face. I straitened my hair, just to make sure my hair won't be so curly like it always is. Once I finished, I looked at myself once more and sighed.
Will John like me this way? What will he say when he sees me?
More and more worthless thoughts came flooding through my mind. I didn't want them there, knowing that they'll only make things worse and stress me out.
I look at the clock reading 7:32pm. I start to head down the stairs, seeing Mother in the kitchen. I told her about me going to John's show tonight, so I didn't really have to tell her anything.
"Hi Mother," I said, smiling.
She looked up and smiled as well, taking in the way I looked. "Sweetie, you look stunning."
"Thank you, Mum." I hugged her, and she accepted the hug by doing the same thing to me.
"No problem, my dear. Just please tell me when you're going to come back."
"Oh, I don't know, Mother. I think at around midnight. I promise I won't stay with John too long."
"Okay, Anna. Please be careful."
"Yes, Mother."
I gave her one more smile, and with that, I left to the Cavern.
