John's P.O.V.I think I'm gonna be sad
I think it's today, yeah
The girl that's driving me mad
Is going awayShe's got a ticket to ride
She's got a ticket to ride
She's got a ticket to ride
But she don't careThe screeching sound of girls screaming made our ears ring. But the atmosphere was something I could never forget.
Sweat was dripping down my forehead. My whole body was shaking. The nerves on my hands were showing.
I smiled at Paul, who did the same. We always have such a great time on stage, but on tour as well. She said that living with me
Is bringing her down, yeah
For she would never be free
When I was aroundShe's got a ticket to ride
She's got a ticket to ride
She's got a ticket to ride
But she don't careI don't know why she's riding so high
She ought to think twice
She ought to do right by me
Before she gets to saying goodbye
She ought to think twice
She ought to do right by meFinishing the song, the screaming got louder. We bowed, thanking the audience, and running back to where we came from before the show.
We're currently on our 1965 tour in America, but it's getting to the end and after we finish it, we're heading over to the Bahamas to finish filming our second film, Help!.
The Beatles, as we are called, have topped all of the musicians. In 1964, we were on the Ed Sullivan Show which made our popularity grow. In that same year we filmed our very first film called A Hard Day's Night after our hit song. Making the movie was a blast, but also a great success.
Anyways, I started with the group. I called them The Beatles because we have a lot of 'beat' in our songs, y'know? Well, there's four of us- Me, my old mates Paul and George and our newest drummer Richard Starkey, or as they all call 'im, Ringo Starr.
Sometimes I just can't believe that we've gotten so far with the band. Just a few years ago I was one of those troublesome teddy boys in college that didn't know what to call home." 'Ey Paul! I need ta ask ye somethin'." I hollered to Paul once we headed to the break room.
"What's that?" He stopped in his tracks to wait for me so I could catch up with him.
"Ye remember when we went from the hotel to the cab, right?" I asked. "Yeah, John. I don't have short-term memory loss! 'F course I remember!"
I just chuckled and continued with my rambling. "Well anyways, did you notice that one bird that was standing there across the street? She was literally like shining into my eyes and I swear I know 'er from somewhere! Don't you?" Paul just laughed at my over-excitedness. "Oh Johnny, how come you always seem to notice other birds but you never notice me?" He batted with his eyelashes like a little school girl. Oh, what a sassy ass he can be sometimes.
"It's 'cos yer not a bird ye twit!" Full of annoyance I just sped off and left him behind.~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anna's P.O.V.
Work had passed by pretty quickly due to all the work I was busy with.
Today's Friday, which means that Laura and I would be spending the evening at some club just like I had promised her earlier.
Honestly, I'm not that excited. I've never been that kind of person that knows how to dance at a disco or have a blast at some club. I'm just an ordinary, boring person that doesn't know how to live here life properly. On the other hand, Laura thinks that I should definitely go, that I'll have a fun time and that maybe I'll even find someone. Whereas I think the total opposite. I guarantee that I won't find anyone. Who would even want a blonde that doesn't know how to have fun?
I don't even know how I'm friends with Laura. She's like the exact opposite of me. She's exciting, funny, and she hasn't been just sitting at home her whole life thinking that she'll get a guy to love her. That's pretty much the description of me.Anyways, Laura will come to my flat earlier to get me ready for the night. Make up and outfits are her thing. I don't even know how to dress to a club.
