Alexis' POV

I came early at the campus to see Graynard. But the whole day went by without seeing his shadow. I was beginning to worry at the same time curious. He didn't show up since the day I told him to stay away from me. And the day seemed so slow for me. No Graynard to tease me. I breathe deeply. I somehow missed that annoying guy. I felt like a part of my heart was bleeding. No.. I didn't like the idea of loving him. "Am I?" I whispered to myself.

I closed my eyes trying to recall those days we were together. Many things had happened since I met him, since the day he stole kisses from me.

I touched my lips. No one had ever kissed me so passionately. It was only him from the start. And I wanted to slap myself for wanting him that moment. I didn't know why. All I wanted was his lips. His kiss that brought different sensations to my body.

I opened my eyes and looked around me. There I saw my bag. I hurriedly took my phone and dialled his number. I wanted to talk to him. I wanted to know what happened. I would beg to see him even if he didn't want to.

"Hello?" I spoke as he answered the call.

"Alexis?"

"Can we see each other, please?" I started to beg him.

"Why? I thought you didn't want to see me?"

"No.. That's not true. I badly want you right now. So please come to my house and see me."

"I'm sorry Alexis but I can't."

"Why? Graynard, listen. I love you. I just realized that I love you. Believe me. I'm going to get crazy if you don't come and see me."

"I'm sorry Alexis but I was not serious when I told you I love you. I don't have any feelings for you. Let's end this. Everything was just a joke. Okay? Just forget about it."

My tears rolled down my cheeks as I heard the fact from him. "You fooled me! You fooled me! You fooled me!"

A loud beeping of my phone woke me up from that nightmare. I rose from the bed and checked it out while wiping my eyes with my hands. They were slightly wet from crying. It was 3 in the morning and an unknown caller had been calling me. I didn't know if I had to thank him for interrupting my conversation with Graynard in my dream or got angry for I hadn't had a chance to fight back. That dream seemed to be real even the pain I felt. I was like a broken glass when he told me he didn't love me.

I didn't know if I could sleep again. With the things happened to me, I doubt. For sure I would only think about him until the sun shone.

I waited for another minute thinking that this person might have called again. And I was right for my phone rang again. My hands were shaking when I slid the unlock button.

"Hello?" My voice was cracking when I answered the phone.

"Alexis?"

Butterflies started to rumble inside my stomach as I heard Graynard's voice on the other line.

"Ye. Yes..? Graynard is that you?"

I heard him chuckled. "Yes, it's me."

"Why did you call at this hour? You should be..."

"I'm outside your house."

"Wait. What? You are..."

"Yes, I've been here since you came home." Oh no! Why I didn't notice his car parking outside?

I gulped. I could feel that every part of me had suddenly revived. Was this a dream? No.. He might have been joking. But how? Oh my! "Graynard." I whispered.

I stood to my feet and ran towards the window. I blinked many times, thinking that I was only dreaming. But no! Hell no coz I saw him leaning on his car, waving at me.

"You are really outside," I told him.

"Come to me, please. I want to see you! I badly want you, Alexis."

I didn't wait for him to finish his sentence. I tossed my phone on my bed and hurriedly went down to see him. I even forgot to wear slippers because of excitement.

Everything was so fast, I didn't even know how I got out of the house that fast without anything on my feet. All I was thinking of was to see him.

My heart was filled with gladness as I saw him face to face.

"Graynard." I was still panting when I reached him.

"Alexis."

We looked at each other and without any words Graynard suddenly pulled me closer to him, touching his lips on mine. I wasn't able to protest anymore. I just closed my eyes, following the rhythm of our lips.

I circled my arms around his neck, filling the gaps between us. I moaned as he kissed me hard. His hands were moving around my back, sending some electricity to every part of my body.

How I wished this wouldn't stop. I badly needed him. It was true. I wanted every part of him. I wanted to be with him. But everything had to come to an end.

He stopped kissing me, releasing me from his embrace. He brought his hand to his pocket. There he found his phone. Somebody was calling him.

"Elizabeth." He spoke and it made me want to cover my face because of embarrassment even though she couldn't see me. Hope he wouldn't tell her about me. I didn't want her to know what I was doing with Graynard.

"Ahm. I'm with someone." I watched him as he uttered every word he said. "With Alexis? No.. We haven't seen each other for a few days. Okay." He hung up the phone and inserted it again in his pocket. I sighed in relief when he didn't tell Elizabeth about us.

"Sorry about that." He apologized.

"It's better if you leave now," I said.

His brows knitted. "We're not done here yet. Come.." He offered his hand to me but I ignored it.

"I'm serious."

"I can see that. You even came out here barefooted coz you're serious. Right?" I flushed as his eyes focused on my feet.

"I have to go back inside." I was about to leave when he grabbed my wrist. "Graynard" I uttered, looking at his face.

"Thanks for coming out." That was all he said then, he released my hand from his gripping.
