I stayed all day in my room. I was just thankful because my mom didn't come to confront me about Glenn. I didn't wanna have a heart to heart talk with him so I shooed him away. I wasn't ready to hear what he wanted to say. For the meantime, I wanted to cool my head off first before making such decisions. I knew myself better than they did. So it would have been better if they let me think on my own and do not push me to listen to them. That was the best thing they could do. I knew that my mom--- I meant my aunt was hurt by the way I treated her. I could see and feel it. Every time we ran into each other in the house, she did her best not to burst into tears especially when I turned a deaf ear to all her entreaties. It was also hard for her part but she had to understand. She just had to endure it. "Oh shit." I murmured. I had to do something. If I was just here, stuck in my own bedroom, I would have gone crazy. I walked to my closet and looked for something to wear. My decision was final. I had to find a place where I could forget my problems. And that was to go to RAVE.

It was around 11 in the evening when I found myself entering the club in my Ice silk pleated bow belt halter short-length sexy club dress matching with my pump heels. Laser lights illuminated the dance floor and people were dancing to the beat of loud and deafening music. Others were busy drinking and were obviously having a great time. Honestly, the last time I came to this place was when Lisa broke up with her stupid boyfriend. We drank until we were both wasted. We couldn't even remember how we got home. Mostly I remembered was the laughter we had while drinking. I could even recall how she cursed her boyfriend for cheating on her but I was still glad coz she was able to get over him.

I was about to jump from where I was standing when someone touched my back. I looked around to find who it was. "Hey! Wanna have some drink?" A woman with brown curly hair offered me a drink. I bit my lowered lip looking at the champagne glass her right hand was holding.

I sighed then took the glass from her. "Thanks." I hesitantly said. She just arched her left eyebrow giving me a small smile.

"Is it your first time to come here?" She asked me.

"Nope. My second time I guess." She laughed at my response.

"I like your dress." She said as she looked at me from head to toe, then back to my confused face.

"Oh! Thanks. I like yours too." I said though it wasn't true. She was wearing her leopard printed V-neck wide straps short-length dress which I thought, didn't fit her. She looked beautiful but not in that dress. And she makes up? Ugh! It was too thick for her. She was like a slut in that get-up.

"What's with that mysterious look?"

She curiously asked me as I shut my mouth while giving her an odd gaze.

"Nothing. Ahmm, are you alone?" I questioned her instead.

"I'm with my friend. She's in the powder room. By the way, I'm Danielle Grey."

"Alexis Woodley." I smiled at her and she did the same. Well, since I was alone, I could hang out with her though I really hated her dress. Ugh! Was it necessary to tell her about it? Oh no! I might have been in trouble. So, it would have been better if I just zipped my mouth. "Remember Alexis, you came here to make you forget your problems not to look for trouble," I whispered to myself.

"Did you say anything?"

"Ah! I said it's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too. Oh, there she is!" I followed where she was looking at. The smile on her face widened as she spotted the girl in imitation silk pleated strapless dress with her brown hair messily curled around her face just like hers coming to our direction. It must have been her friend.
