ALEXIS' POV

My Alexis,

When I first saw you
There's a feelin' beyond my heart
That I couldn't explain why
I must be hypnotized

Maybe because of your angelic smile
That nobody can resist
Or your sweet little voice
That will surely be adored

Oh! My darling please tell me so
That you love me too
Coz if you won't
I don't know what to do

Perhaps for you, this means nothing
But babe for me it's everything
Coz the first time I saw you
I've already fallen in love with you

Have a nice day love!

"Ugh! Seriously?? Who the hell wrote this senseless poem?" I irritably asked Mikaela. My classmate in Literature. She was the one who handed the paper to me after our class.

She shrugged her shoulders. "Sorry, I really don't have an idea. He might be an admirer."

"Admirer? That doesn't make sense. Who would be wasting his time writing such a stupid poem like this? How idiotic he is!" I squeaked. I didn't know why I was releasing my anger now just because someone made an effort of making me a poem.

"Hey, Alexis. It's no big deal! That person might like you that much that he even took time writing you a poem. You're overreacting." Said Rick, one of our classmates as well. He was at the back listening to my sentiments.

Rolling my eyes, I turned my head to him. "Can you just please shut up! I'm not talking to you and I'm not even asking your opinion." I fired back, giving him a glare.

"Fine!" He said, raising his hands in defeat and walked away. I suddenly felt guilty for what I had shown them.

"Alexis... I'm really sorry I..."

"That's fine.." I cut her off. "Maybe Rick was right, I was just overreacting. Sorry about that."

She just nodded. "I'll go ahead." She said, turning away.

I sighed. Still couldn't believe that someone would write a poem for me. I wasn't actually angry that I received one. I loved poems. It's just that I was not in the mood of entertaining admirers if ever there was one. He perfectly gave it to me at the wrong time.

I looked at the paper again. How would I be able to know this unknown sender if the poem was typewritten? He was such a wise person for he was trying to trick me with his stupid poem. Well, he was just wasting his precious time for I would never get affected by it. "Good luck to him." I murmured, folding the paper and inserted it in my pocket.

I walked out of the room, making my way to the corridor. While I was walking, My eyes caught a glimpse of a girl standing next to a guy--- Glenn? "What? Why is he here?" Questions abruptly arose. They looked like they were waiting for someone. And some sort of conclusions formed in my head. It was obviously me whom they were waiting for. Who else would it be? Unless they made new friends without me knowing. Wait. Did Glenn ever tell her what had happened? Oh my! Was this actually the reason why they came to see me? To use Lisa to beg for me instead of him? No.. This was too much. He had no idea how unhappy I was to know he was using Lisa in order to forgive his damn mistakes. He was playing unfair this time.
