so tenchinally, he should be 29.

You probably did

20+10= 30

Well that's wrong.

He started his journey at ten.

So really, it's

19+10

Because we take away the first year he was 10.

Dialga must hate himself tbh because he's let this kid be 10 for 20 years

Also, it took Ash 20 years to win a championship.
