I woke up to the sound of a noisy growl, one that sounds so deep and finished itself off with a huff. My eyes fluttered open, only to find both Mark's arms wrapped around me. It was early dawn, our mission was about to start, but this feeling of being so close to Mark made me delay my thoughts.

It was a very sensible position, me and him. He was basically big spooning me from the back. I wanted to turn around but then that might wake him up. There were no blankets whatsoever last night so basically, I was acting as one. Mark's hand slowly moved upwards, chills moved inside my body. His snores even got louder, kinda cute too.

Attempting to stand, I placed my hand over his and moved it aside. Now the only thing that was bothering me was his other hand. How did it get under my side?

I inched myself away, moving outwards from the bed and not trying to wake Mark up. Although it was still a bit too early to start the mission, I figured I should set something cheeky for Mark; maybe breakfast?

I grabbed my shirt and tossed it over my head, wearing it with ease. I tiptoed towards the door and turned the knob as slow as I could. Mark snorted a little causing me to clench my teeth.

I opened the door, the sound of it creaking was just adding the chances of Mark waking up. I set my foot out and closed the door again quietly.

"Finally." I whispered to myself.

The hallway was isolated, there was no one around. I made my way to the stairs, holding the bars as I walked down casually. Once I was at ground level, I then went out of the building. The day was still about to rise, dawn was breaking in.

I had to be fast so I scanned around, looking for the room that contains the sector's supplies. I managed to put my eye on one door that had the label 'Food and Ammunition' near a greenhouse. I crouched down and crept towards the door only to stumble upon a sleeping guard. The guard was probably one of Ryan's boys. He had the lit cigarette still in his mouth, how long has he been up?

The guard looked like he just took a break. His hat tilted forward, covering the forehead section of his face. The only way in was through that door, maybe.

I then tried to look for another suggestion besides the front entrance. I glanced left and found a pipeline that passed over the small building where the supplies were. Maybe I could climb that.

The day was growing a lot more quicker than I expected. Judging from time, I figured it was already around 4:30am. Without wasting anymore seconds, I leaped myself onto the pipeline and clung my hands onto the narrow hold. I moved right, my foot almost came in contact with the guard. I sighed,

"That was close."

I shifted over the roof off the supply room. There was the huge window that had a small lever. I grabbed the lever and twisted it, causing the window to open and gave me access to the supplies.

I dropped down, the locked door in front of me was translucent so I could see the guard still sleeping. I looked around as I saw the supplies, holy shit, this was like a castle's trove. There was so much food, I could just easily eat one right now but there was not time to ponder.

On a shelf laid a few bacon boxes and a portable gas cooker. Thank god, just what I needed.

I grabbed one bacon box and the gas cooker, including a bottle of vegetable oil. I didn't want to make breakfast boring so I even took two eggs from a carton. Man, I was just being a rebel that moment.
