"We're trying to open the damn door, gosh, it's locked. What the hell!" Jace says in the other end, "you guys push, Delilah and I will pull."Becky, James and Edward obeyed and pushed the door while Jace and Delilah pulled the doorknob.
BOOM!
The door opens.
"James!!!" Delilah hugs her brother happily. "Are you alright?" She squeezes him so tight that James pushes her away.
"I'm fine, thanks to you and Jace."
Edward pulls Jace. "Can we talk for a moment?"
"About what?" Jace asks but it seemed like Ed had already pulled him away from Becky, Delilah and James.
"You got us into this mess, we need to go. This is all your fault," Edward pushes Jace.
"We already are finished with my 'mess', if you can't handle all of this then why bother to come?" Jace retorts back and shoves Edward, leaving him behind.
"Let's go," Jace clasps his hands, approaching the others while Edward slowly followed.
Becky had been silent for a while.
The five runs out from the building.
"It's seven fifty eight. We did it guys, I'm sorry for causing you all of this," Jace apologizes firmly as Edward smiles.
"I'm scared....." Becky speaks up for the first time and hugged her 'doll'.
Delilah raises her eyebrows. "Your voice grew deeper and that doll.... Are you alright Becky?"
Becky nodded.
"Just sleep over at my place," Jace offers. "I'm sure all of you are pretty scared."
James nods, "True."
Everyone followed Jace except for Becky.
"Becky you okay?" Edward asks, looking back. The others looked back too and noticed Becky shivering.
"What's wrong Becks?" Delilah asks.
Just then, a scream was heard.
"Help me!!!"
"That came from the building," James shivers, "and it exactly was Becky's voice." He then turned to Becky, "but Becky's right here..?"
Edward then clasps his hands. "I don't think that's Becky."
The entire group glared at Becky, who looked at the doll and opened its chest.
She then held out a paper.
"I'm Jenny," it says.
The entire group gasped.
"Where's Becky!?" Delilah asks.
The so called Becky (or Jenny) pulled out a pen from the doll's chest and started writing.
"She's in the building."
"How are you in her body? I'm confused," James comments,
Becky (or Jenny) sighed and started writing again.
"She touched my doll. My soul was in this doll and since she touched it my soul transferred to her body and now her soul is with Troy West," it says.
"Troy West? Isn't he the owner of the building?" Jace began "and Jenny... Errr Becky can you just speak?"
Jenny (A/N: let's just name her Jenny k?) paused.
Edward sighs, "Should we go back to the building? It's already... Eight"
"We should! She's our friend!" Delilah says.
Jenny blocks her way.
"What the-"
"You are not going anywhere. You are not saving her. No one is saving her. I've been stuck in that building for years and now I'm free. I am not letting you save her. I shall let her suffer my pain for years," and Jenny pushes Delilah away.
"That's unfair, it was your fault that you got lost! Becky told me the whole story," Ed says.
"Life is unfair. It always is"
The group stared at her in disbelief.
"I am going to go see my parents and act all innocent since I'm in Becky's shoes," then Jenny ran to Becky's house.
The group follows her.
"Becky your back!" Her mom shrieks, "we were worried!"
"Mrs. Lauren! Mrs. Lauren! That's not Becky, we entered West's unfinished building and they've got Becky's soul. That's not Becky, that's Jenny! She just looks like Becky but Mrs.Lauren please listen..." Jace stops to hold his breath.
Becky's mom is now confused. "My daughter Jenny was missing years ago. That's impossible."
"Mrs. Lauren please trust us. I'm Becky's best friend and I tell you, that's not Becky. That's Jenny, your long lost daughter. Look at the doll!" Delilah claims.
Jenny stared at Mrs.Lauren's eyes, "don't you trust me mommy wommy? It's me Becky," and hides the doll behind her.
Mrs.Lauren grabbed the doll, "You are not Becky. Becky never calls me that. Jenny gives me nicknames."
"How would you know? Jenny was gone years ago!" Fake Becky exclaims.
"She's my daughter. I'll never forget her personality."
"She's trying to steal Becky's body. She won't let us get Becky's soul back," James says.
