Delilah couldn't help but hold onto Jace's arm once her flashlight started flickering.

Jace comforts her, "We'll find them before you know it," and hugs her, she couldn't help but blush; she thought he was a jerk, but she was wrong.... He's actually a little sweet.

"No sign of them here," Jace sighs.

"They could be at the second floor... Or third," Delilah pointed out.

"The second floor is where the stomps came from, the ghost or whatever might be there waiting to kill us," Jace argues with her.

Delilah grabbed his arm, "We don't have much time. Our flashlight is flickering and its battery is running out, so we should go to the second floor. They might be there, if not then let's check the third floor and each room in both floors."

Jace complains, "but Del, we might get ourselves killed!"

"I thought you were brave," Delilah frown.

"I am," Jace murmurs, "but I don't want you to get... hurt."

Delilah smiles.

"At least we'd die a hero,"

Jace paused and understood her words and followed Delilah.

As they both climbed the stairs, they hear bangs and stomps and screams .

Meanwhile, in one of the rooms in the second floor lays hopeless Edward, Becky and young James, who sniffed and tried to open the door calmly.

James laid down unconsciously and glanced at Edward. "What's the time?"

"It's seven forty five, damn fifteen more minutes and it'll be eight," Edward answered.

Becky sobbed and hugged the doll her sister Jenny loved the most. "I'm sorry for causing you all this. I just wanted my sister back and look where it got us."

Edward hugs Becky. "It'll all be alright"

"No it won't, they won't find us!!!" Becky screamed and her voice echoed throughout the entire room.

Or maybe the entire second floor.

"What was that?" Delilah shivered while her eyes glimmered, she held Jace's arms tighter than before which was comforting and it didn't bother Jace at all since he was the school's playboy and he's already used to it.

"We have twelve more minutes to go, we can't waste time. Let's go to the third floor," Delilah suggested, "let's avoid the voice"

"Let's search the entire second floor first," Jace argues.

"But the voice...." Delilah began.

"No one will harm you because I'm here. I won't let anything happen to you."

Delilah blushed, but shook her head. "You probably say that to a lot of girls," she says, thinking about his reputation.

"Actually, you're the first one," he says, "other girls are just girls. I don't treat them like this, they just join me. I barely entertain them."

"But you receive hugs and kisses right?" Delilah asks anxiously.

Jace grins, "I actually never had my first kiss," then he walked around the second floor. "The girls I hang up with tried to kiss me but I use an excuse or disappear right after."

"Oh," Delilah smiles. "Hey look, three doors."

Three doors were present on the second floor.

One was open, the other one was open but the third one was locked.

Meanwhile, on the third door Becky, James and Edward stayed silent since they knew panicking and screaming wouldn't get them anywhere.

They heard footsteps coming toward them but each stopped once after five steps.

"They're probably checking each door," Edward murmurs hopefully.

"Maybe it's the ghost!" James shrieks.

Becky hugged the doll tighter.

There was a sudden knock on the door.

"Anyone here?" They hear a familiar voice.

"Jace!!!"
