12: Masked

James is the first to complain once Delilah and Jace told them that they'd be needing Jenny in order for both sisters to switch bodies.

"Edward is wounded and he can't move around properly, what if a sudden shadow comes to us? A murderer perhaps!? I can't just run around alone carrying Edward," James argues and turn to Edward silently, "no offense."

Edward nods, "Don't worry. No offense taken."

"We will just come with you,"James insists nervously. "You can't leave me alone here with a wounded person who's in pain. You know my reasons already... Please just let me come with you..."

Delilah frowns, "And leave Edward alone? That's not fair James, you shouldn't only think of yourself."

"Why so hung up on Edward?" Jace murmurs curiously, sounding a little bitter.

All eyes were now at him. Jenny gave him a what the hell look. It took Jace a couple of seconds to realize what he just said in front of Delilah, her brother and his own cousin.

"I'm asking James okay? Why is he so rough on Edward," Jace lies. Delilah gulps and turns to James, Edward stays silent and so did Jenny.

James growled, "I'm not being rough on him, it's just that I'm scared."

"I can stay alone. You guys go, I don't want any more people involved or hurt because of me," Edward speaks up and smiles at James.

James sighs sadly, "Now I feel guilty," and suddenly, a tear rolled down on his face and he sniffs, "I'm...selfish," and then he sits near Edward.

Edward pushes him away slowly. "No, it's okay."

"What about I stay with Edward?" Delilah volunteers. "Jace, you can accompany Jenny and James right? I mean, you were the one who led me to the--"

"No!" James cuts off Delilah's sentence before Jace could disagree. "I'll stay with Edward. I'll protect him."

Delilah smiles, "That's my brother," and grabs Jenny and Jace.

Together, the three ran to the third floor carefully. They waited for the masked serial killer namely Troy West to leave the room.

They hear Wade reasoning out. "Father, you can't kill them. You already switched Jenny and Becky's bodies.... You can't continue doing this father... Mother wouldn't have wanted this!"

"Your mother left us after she heard that the building cannot be finished," the masked Troy West says, "that's why I cursed her with amnesia and other things."

"What a mean husband," Jenny utters silently and turns to Jace, "Don't be like that when you marry a girl alright Jacie Jace?"

Jace rolls his eyes, "Don't call me that."

"Troy West's voice sounds so familiar," Delilah says, "he sounds just like Wade."

"What do we have here?" The masked Troy West appears as he snatches Jace, Delilah and Jenny
