[Finn]
I saw the plane crash. It wasn't far from where I was. It was an ally ship. I saw the ship that shot it down too. The pilot was quite good, whoever it was. Though they weren't ready for the next wave. Two of ally ships surrounded them and soon they were heading towards the ground.
I wanted to go check out the wreckage, to look for resources. I already knew ally ships didn't have anything, but who said that the enemy ships didn't have anything in there? I head towards the smoke. The smoke kind of reminded me of a time when Coy almost burnt down the kitchen.
He and I and a two others had kitchen duty. Coy had thought we might as well eat something while we were in there. Everyone agreed, but all that there was in the kitchen were foods that needed to be cooked. He pulled out a box of macaroni and cheese and reassured us he knew how to cook.
He definitely didn't. He burnt the macaroni and a fire started. Coy took the blame and got three weeks probation. His punishment was working in the garbage room. Basically he sorted recycling and regular trash. It didn't help that it smelled like someone took a shit and left it in the sun for a week.
I laughed to myself remembering how he smelled when he came out. Our officer Commander Ren made him take three showers and drop and give him one hundred for being late for house meeting.
That was one thing I wouldn't miss about The First Order.
The houses.
There were three, all occupied by the three main commanding officers.
Commander Ren, General Hux, and Captain Phasma.
They were all assholes. They thought because they were in charge, they could treat us like shit. Commander Ren was my house leader. I didn't like him. And neither did Coy.
We didn't care for his temper, or the tantrum that came not too long afterwards. We didn't care for the way he treated us like we were a nasty piece of gum under his expensive black leather boot. And we didn't care for the way he talked to us like we didn't understand simple English.
I hated Commander Ren. He probably deserved to die too.
As I neared the wreckage, I covered my nose and mouth with my shirt so I didn't breathe in the fumes. I did a once over of the ship and decided this was a waste of my time. Of course there weren't any resources.
I was just dumb. I was just stupid. And I was just sad.
I wiped away the tears that were starting to form in my eyes. I turned to walk away, when I heard a groan. I turned around to find the source of the noise.
"H-help...me." The voice wheezed.
It was coming from behind the ship. The pilot must have been thrown behind when the ship crashed. I rushed behind the ship and found the pilot. There was something familiar about him, though I couldn't put my finger on it.
His face was covered with smeared dirt and blood and his lip was busted. His left was leg was bent in an awkward position.
Then there were his eyes.
They were the only thing that managed to stay beautiful. To stay intact. They were a beautiful shade of brown. A chestnut brown, mixed with the brown color of mud after a shower of rain. There were a tiny hints of different shades of green on the sides.
