Dear Labanos,
How's life over there? I haven't really seen you since you graduated. If only I knew that it would be the last time I see you, I would've introduced myself and congratulated you. I thought you were going to the local college but then I was wrong. Anyway, I'm really glad to hear that you took up engineering. I kind of expected it since you took carpentry class for your Livelihood Economics. I used to admire that class. I saw you draw things like what engineers and architects do. I'm an aspiring one on the latter. I draw but not often anymore. I only hold a pencil for notes these days.
In high school, I had quite a lot of interest on guys. No one really stood out except for you which is really strange. I do not have crush on people I don't know. Before I could say I like someone, I try to get to know him first. I was in second year when I first saw you. I was a transferee back then and I'm new to the surroundings so I tend to look around a lot. I can't remember the exact first time I saw you but it must've been in your carpentry class since your workshop is just beside our classroom. I always see you whenever I pass your room. Sometimes I would see you sitting just beside the door, other times I would see you bent over, sawing. My feelings for you started when you joined that movies quiz bee for third years. I find you really cool and I can't take my eyes of you. Your eyes are captivating too. I would silently cheer whenever you get something correct. I also noticed that you were the one who answer more, than your two companions. Basing on that, I believe you like watching movies and probably read some books, which makes me like you more. I'm really happy when you won that day. Congratulations by the way! 😊 It's great that you won cause if not then your name won't be on the school magazine. If your name won't be in the school magazine, I won't be able to know your very unique name, 'Khar-ey'. Until now, I don't know how your name is pronounced so I just go by how my best friend calls you since she's close to your twin sister. And oh, I can't believe Khawa is your twin sister! So as I was saying, I got your name from the school magazine. From that time on, I've got my eyes on you.
Third year, I am a bit sad that its going to be your last year. The good thing was, I saw you right away on the first day of school. You don't know how happy that made me. In third year, I also met my most reliable source of information about you who also become my best friend. She likes your older brother. Its because of you we became friends and eventually best friends. Both of us would sometimes stalk you. I'm really happy to have a friend whom I can share my secrets about my crush. We were inseparable ever since we became friends.
So you were in 4th year. I got really sad when your line during the flag ceremony was transferred up in the second floor of the fourth year building. To be able to see you, I always have to pretend to look around for someone then casually look up at you. 'Para-paraan' , my bestfriend would say. I also envy the girls you danced with during intermissions. Why? Its because that means that you have been practicing the dance with that girl. I would even imagine dancing with you sometimes.
Fast forward. Around February, everyone in school is talking about your graduation ball. I on the other hand, is always creating imaginations on how I would end up to be your partner on the ball. One time, I imagined that they changed it to JS Prom and then 4th years should partner only with 3rd years. And by fate, I was paired with you. Though that is simply an impossible imagination.
After the ball, I had to search through your classmates' fb accounts to look for your picture. I'm really curious of how you look like in a complete suit. 😆 I did found some pictures but instead of drooling over it, I was laughing hard. I'm sorry but your suit looks too big for your ectomorphic physique. I saw pictures of you dancing, too. I'm really envious of all the girls you danced with.
