"Can we go sit by the Cullens? I like them. I don't want to talk to Aro," I said.
"Of course baby," he said.
"My face hurts," I sighed.
He sighed and put his ice cold hand on it, which I smiled. "That feels good."
He smiled and brought us back to the Cullens table.
"Are you okay?" Carlisle asked as soon as he saw me.
"Yes," I nodded as I sat in Demetri's lap curling up.
"Meet the rest of my family," Carlisle said. "This is Esme, my wife. My adoptive daughters, Bella, Alice, and Rosalie, and my adoptive sons. Emmett, Edward and Jasper. Bella's daughter couldn't make it here today. She got sick," he said, which was an obvious lie, he was trying to protect her.
I nodded. "It's alright," I smiled my hair on one side.
One of them looked at my neck.
"Emmett stop staring," A female said, the one sitting next to Carlisle said. I think it was Esme.
"She has something on her neck," He said.
Demetri chuckled a bit.
"I do?" I asked blushing covering it with my hand.
Carlisle raised his eyebrow at Demetri.
Demetri just kissed my head and moved my hair covering my neck.
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's a hickey," Demetri whispered very lowly in my ear, only for me to hear.
Instantly my face turned a bright, bright shade of red.
"What happened up there?" Carlisle asked.
"N-nothing," I answered and hid my head.
Demetri chuckled and kissed my head, running his fingers through my wet hair.
"He just held me," I lied.
"Mhmmm," Emmett said a smirk across his face.
A blonde girl next to him hit him on the back side of his head. "Emmett. Enough."
He just laughed.
I groaned. "Ill be back Demetri, I'm going to get some food," I said looking around at the tables just shaking my head seeing a blood fountain. "You have got to be kidding me. Really no food?!" I said under my breath.
He chuckled. "I'll be back. I'm going to the kitchen to get some food," I sighed.
"Do you want me to come?" he asked looking around.
"No. I just want to be alone for a few minutes. I'll be back. If I'm not back in ten minutes then you can come looking for me," I said.
"Five," He said.
"Seven," I said.
"Fine," he said with a sigh.
I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever," I said and kissed him. "I'll be back," I said and skipped away, no shoes out of the throne room, not realizing someone was following me.
I sighed and went to the kitchen and leaned against the counter taking a few deep breaths. "Damn it," I muttered and closed my eyes shaking my head.
I rubbed my cheek and, the sting was still there, so I grabbed a small bag of frozen peas out of the freezer and put it on my cheek, then I moved to the fridge to look for food.
