Things slowly went back to normal. Minutes turned to hours. Hours turned to days. Days turned into weeks. Demetri and I kept it on the down low for a while. No hickies I told him.

It was July. I was in the kitchen. Everything was absolutely perfect. I had water on the stove boiling, making macaroni and cheese. I leaned against the fridge my hands on my stomach. I had a upset stomach this morning. I leaned my head against the fridge as I felt the weirdest sensation. I felt a bump against my hands.

Completely shocked I started to cough. 'What in the hell was that?' I thought. Maybe I was feeling something. Or I'm just tired. I have been really tired lately. I really don't know. It was probably just nothing.

"Are you okay?" Demetri asked eyeing me.

I nodded. "Yes, I'm sorry, just a tickle in my throat," I lied looking down, moving over to make my story convincible, I grabbed a glass and filled it water and took a sip of it. I didn't need him to know about my paranoia.

He nodded and smiled. "Can you stir it for me?" I asked him and put the glass of water down.

He smiled and nodded.

I pushed myself onto the counter and looked down at my stomach trying to see if it grew any. 'Don't be silly its been five weeks. You don't show in five weeks. You don't even feel a kick. You aren't pregnant.'

Demetri walked over to me and grabbed my hands and kissed me passionately.

I smiled as he kept kissing me as he started unbuttoning my shirt.

"Demetri. Not here," I murmured.

"Room?" he asked pulling away a sly smirk on his face.

"I don't think it's a good idea," I said looking down. "I want it as much as you do but Aro was really mad last time. I think he is watching us." I whispered and started buttoning up my shirt.

"It's been five weeks. He is over it." he said with a sigh.

"Maybe tonight," I said and leaned forward and kissed his cheek. Hoping off the counter stirring it then grabbing a strainer and draining the water.

He shook his head chuckling a bit. "Whatever you would like my love,"

I put in everything and put it in a bowel and started eating it some. I kept eating, only eating a little, feeling sick. "Demetri I don't feel well," I said looking down pale.

He picked me up. "Baby what's wrong?"

"I think I'm going to puke," I said.

His eyes widened and he immediately rushed me up to my room and let me down as I started to get sick.

He moved my hair back and sighed. "Sweetie are you okay?" he asked.

I looked down and shook my head. "Can we lay down?" I asked murmuring.

"Of course," he said and picked me up and laid me in bed. Then he brought over a trash can.
Here, just in case."

"Thanks baby," I said looking up at him weakly, "I think I just ate too much last night, then this just set it off," I said, not really sure why I feel sick. I mean I only had two pieces of pizza.

He sighed and sat next to me. "Can you get me some ice water?" I asked "and a cold rag?" I whimpered.

He nodded. "Of course, I'll be back in five minutes? Does Alec need to come up to make sure you are okay?"

I chuckled a but and shook my head. "I'll be fine. I just got sick."

He nodded and kissed my forehead and walked out of the room. I laid there thinking. Why did I get sick. Shit.
