DEMETRI P.O.V

_

"What do you mean she is in a coma?" I asked, my voice shaking.

"She has neurological functions, which is good, but all the tests we have been doing, she hasn't responded to one. Her pupils are dilated. Every sign is there. She is in a coma," the doctor said.

"When will she wake up?" I whispered kissing her forehead.

"I don't know," he said looking down. "A few days. A week. It really Just depends. Talk to her, she can hear you most likely," he said.

"Ill check in on the three of you in a few hour. Can I get you anything to drink, eat?" he asked.

"No thank you," I said and held onto Izzy's hand. "Please baby wake up," I said tears going down my cheeks, hating this.

She just laid there, the machine breathing for her. "My baby," I cried kissing her head.

"Demetri," Aro said. "What if we change her," he said.

"I don't want her like this. Not yet anyway. If it comes down to it I will," I snapped immediately. "Baby, why did you do this Izzy?" I whispered shaking my head.

Aro stayed silent.

"Aro can you please touch her hand and see why. Please," I cried.

"Yes." he said and sighed and moved over to her and grabbed onto her free hand.  "Her mind is completely blank right now Demetri. There's nothing. No thoughts, nothing."

"Not possible Aro. Please try harder!!!" I yelled.

"Be quiet." he hissed.

"Please Aro. She was just fine. She was smiling, and laughing, something had to have happened. Please I need to know." I cried. "This is my fault!! I left her alone. I shouldn't have left her alone. She is here because of me," I cried leaning my head against her stomach gently, crying into her hospital gown. "I'm so sorry baby," I cried.

"Demetri, this isn't your fault," Aro said gently putting his hand on my back.

"But it is. If I didn't leave her alone. We just started the medication to. If I just locked it away or brought it with me. This is my fault." I cried.

"Demetri look at me now! Its not your fault. You cant control what she does," he said.

I shook my head crying.

"Izzy please open you eyes, please look at me. Please. I love you. I cant live without you. You have made me someone else. I was cold and hard. You made me see the light. Please. I cant lose you," I whispered in her ear.

No movement.

"Damn it Izzy please!!" I said louder.

I shook my head and climbed in bed with her pulling her close. "I'm not leaving your side until you wake up. Got it little one?"

I closed my eyes, as the hours ticked by. I pretended to sleep as another nurse walked in taking her vitals.

As soon as she left I opened my eyes and kissed her cheek. "It's going to be okay baby girl. I'm right here," I said in her ear.

A doctor came in knocking first. "Were taking her for a CT of her abdomen, because of the overdose. It may cause damage and I want to see."

"Can I come?" I asked.

"No," he said.

"Please," I said. "I'm not leaving her side. I wont cause any troubles. I just want to be in the room with her."

"Fine. I'll have the nurse come and bring in papers," he said with a sigh.

I nodded and sighed closing my eyes getting off the bed watching her carefully, watching for any signs of any movement.

A few minutes later a nurse came in with paperwork. "Fill this out for her. This one is for you," he said.

I nodded and filled them both out quickly, sighing.

A transport guy came and we left. "When she wakes she will have a psych evaluation," he said.

"She isn't crazy," I growled. "Her mother died. She just started antidepressants and I should've known not to leave her alone with them. Don't say she is crazy," my hands balled into fists.

He sighed looking down. "I'm sorry," he said.

I nodded, still glaring.

We got to the CT room.

It took a total of 25 minutes and we were back on our way to the room.

I shook my head frustrated.

When we got back to the room Alec and Marcus were there Aro was gone. "Aro had to go back. We came to take place. What happened?" Marcus asked.

"She... She overdosed on the antidepressants," I answered shaking my head crying.

"Why would she do that?" The two looked shocked.

"I-I don't know Marcus," I whispered. "Marcus. I cant lose her, I love her. She is my mate," I cried.

"I know," he sighed and pulled me into a hug. "You wont lose her," he said.

"Felix wasn't there when we fed. Do you think he has something to do with it? I mean. He has some sort of hate towards her. Him and Ciaus. I hear them talking about it all the time in the Throne Room," Alec said.

"Is that true?" I asked.

Marcus nodded.

"I'll call Aro."

I dialed up Aro's number. "Hey. I think Felix may had to have something to do with this. He wasn't there when we were all feeding. I think he may have said something to make her do it. Because she was happy. I could see it in her eyes again. She didn't just do it out of the blue," I said shaking my head.

"Ill ask," he sighed.

"Please read his mind Aro. Something is up," I said.

"Okay Demetri," he said with another sigh, then the line went dead.

"Does Aro know she is your mate?" Marcus asked.

"He does now," I said, moving back over, pulling her close.

"By the way Alec. Yes you did interrupt something," I said kissing her head, tears going down my cheeks again.

"You guys did it?" Alec asked wide eyed.

"Almost," I whispered. "She was so happy, for the first time too. I got her to smile, to giggle, to laugh. Now she is. She looks in pain and miserable. I want her to be okay," I cried holding her.

"She will be okay," Marcus said, "You have to believe it. If you don't, then she wont. What did the doctors say?"

"That she was in a damn coma and they don't know when the hell she will be out of it!!" I yelled.

He sighed. "You need to feed Demetri," Marcus said lowly.

"I'm not leaving her side."

"I'll bring you something then," he sighed.

All I did was hold her close and whisper "Please wake up."
