I groaned, my eyes fluttering open. My god did they burn.

"Open up!!" one yelled.

I looked over beside me to see my mom still asleep. She held me all night long I guess. I shook her awake. "Mom..." I whispered.

She groaned, "Baby go back to bed..." she moaned.

"No... someone is at the door," I said in her ear.

"IZZY OPEN UP WE KNOW YOU ARE HOME!!" and unfamiliar voice called.

Mom heard and sat up immediately. Panicking. "Stay here," she said glaring, heading towards the door.

"Where's Izzy," one guy said.

"Felix... be nice..." Demetri said and sighed.

"You're not taking her," she crossed her arms standing in front of the doorway so the two couldn't get to me.

"It wasn't a request," Felix said pushing her out of the way heading to me.

I backed away scared.

"Don't hurt her. She is just a child," she said grabbing his arm.

Demetri sighed coming in.

"You're both coming with us," Demetri sighed, "Felix be gentle, he doesn't want her hurt. He wont be happy that she has bruises from us," he sighed.

I then moved over to Demetri trusting him, even though he was taking me back to the person who wanted to take me away from my mom.

Demetri sighed and pulled me into a hug.

Felix sighed and went to my mom grabbing her by the arm, "Lets go," he said.

"Let her go!!" I glared at her.

Felix sighed, "She will run," he said.

"No I wont," she said glaring.

He sighed and held onto her arm and brought her out of the room and down stairs.

"Please don't let him hurt her," I said to Demetri.

He sighed, "I cant make any promises," he said.

I looked up at his eyes and noticed that his eyes were a bright red, "Your eyes seem brighter," I noted.

He looked down, "I killed the officer and changed the stories..." he said quietly.

I looked up at him in shock, "W-What?!"

"I had to," he said and sighed, "Lets go," he said and picked me up.

"Why do you carry me everywhere?" I asked.

"Because I like to," he said with a slight smirk.

I just shook my head and ruffled his hair and giggled.

He glared and shook his head.

I giggled and he brought me down and put me in the back seat of the car. My mom sat next to me. She instantly put her arm around me and pulled me close not trusting Felix.

He sighed and Demetri got in on the passenger seat.

I leaned on my mom and she sighed and kissed my head, she had tears in her eyes. "What do they want with you?" she asked very quietly only to me.
