Drip, drip.
Drip.
Hear the clouds
As their tears flow down to the earth.
Feeling the gentle deluge
Of water.
Splashing off the trees,
Wetting the grass,
Spilling from the gutters.
Hear the shivery shake
Of the thunder
And the frightening cracks
Of lightning.
Yet you're safe.
Protected and warm.
Content.
Peaceful.
Listening to music,
To the Symphony
Of nature.
Hear the importance,
The deeper meaning
Of the world.
Of the thunder.
Of the lightning.
Of the deep, dark gray clouds.
Of the thickening atmosphere.
Of the rain.
Hear it all.
Hear the rain.
And enjoy it.
Embrace it.
Because it too,
Has a purpose in this world.
