Why am I even doing this? Stevie asked herself. Maybe because your damn curiosity has once again gotten the better of you.

She was sitting in her office, curled up on her dragon sofa and had Karen's notebook in her lap. It wasn't the first time she had "burrowed" her assistant's notebook, but mostly she did it because she was in "dire" need to get the perfect accessories to some outfit. And usually Karen only found out because Stevie might have found something, but had no idea of how to get what she wanted. This time was different. Stevie didn't want anybody to find out what she was doing.

It had all started quite innocently. A few days ago she had been out in the desert, shooting the video for 'For What It's Worth' with Dave and Mike. And Jessie. When Stevie had told her niece that she and Lindsey would stop hiding from the world, Jessie had first laughed and then mumbled something like "Damn those theories won't keep me entertained for too long" before nearly falling from the couch laughing when seeing her aunts totally clueless expression. It was then that Stevie had learned about what some fans thought about her relationship with Lindsey. She had known that some fans speculated about her relationship with Lindsey, but never had she thought that some people, obviously, spent quite some time on discussing it. And had come up with some theories she now wanted to see herself.

"I doubt I'll find this under Fleetwood Mac..." She said to herself. "So let's see... Buckingham Nicks."

Clicking on the first link that had appeared she wondered why Lindsey and she had a website, but then remembered that it must be one of the fan sites.

Not being in a haste she stopped shortly before choosing the message board button and opted for BuckinghamNicks. And already she was greeted by the word speculation. Now curious about what people would think about their songs, she scrolled up and down, randomly choosing some.

"If they knew..." Stevie snorted and nearly jumped when hearing Lindsey laughing. Looking up she saw him standing in the doorway. "What's so funny?"

"Stay like this. I'll just take a picture and show it to you." He still laughed lightly when walking over and sitting down next to her. "What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to find out what some of our fans really think about us." Stevie explained. "They took the time to interpret each and every song of ours. Can you believe this? Okay... from what I've been reading they think that deep down we still love each other."

"Then they're quite right." Lindsey slightly shook his head about her. "Cause I still love you."

"And I love you, but they don't know that." She protested. "All they know is you're married to Kristen and they speculate about us having an affair during 'The Dance', 'Say You Will' and most likely 'Unleashed' as well." Scrolling further down, she pointed at something. "I mean look at this."

"I get the impression they don't like my wife." He joked when finished reading. "But I must admit that the thought of you and I having sex excites me as well."

"Lindsey Buckingham, stop making fun of this or I'll show you what they wrote about your Stevie Nicks is the greatest pain in my ass songs." She threatened.

"Most likely that you were right when writing that I was my usual asshole self." He shrugged his shoulders. "But you still couldn't resist me."

"Never could." Stevie shifted on the couch, moving closer to him. "Never will." She sighed. "Still this was the furthest thing on my mind when writing that song."

"So what is it about?" Lindsey asked, nudging her gently. "Cause you never told me more than 'I'm talking to you'."

"I really wrote it during 'The Dance', but it's not about what happened on tour." She said quietly. "It's about what you did for me a few years previous."
