You
It was later that night. You kept having flashbacks from your day with Ian. It was nice to see him. It was nice to talk to someone who actually understood you. He looked good too. His hair was a little longer and it was kinda pushed up. He still had those big framed glasses. He was definitely dressed better. You wondered if this was all because of you. Did he make himself look nice to impress you? Not to sound too narcissistic but he probably did. I mean you did the same for him. Talking to him was so effortless. It was awkward at times but you two always seemed to know what to say. You wondered if you were reading into the situation. Was it just a friendly conversation and meeting? Would you two become friends? In all honestly the last thing you wanted was to be friends with Ian. Jason wasn't home yet, so you decided to take a little time to yourself. You took a nice bath, put on a face mask, and made yourself some dinner. The least you could do was save some food for Jason, so you put a plate in the fridge for him. You knew that you treated him badly, but you couldn't help it. If you could just love him in a romantic way, your life might just be perfect.

Ian
Ever since you got back to Joji's place, you couldn't stop thinking about (Y/N). It was the way she looked, the way she spoke, her mannerisms, her smile, her laugh. It was everything about her. You were still in love with her, there was no denying that. You knew that she was engaged but she didn't seem happy. As perfect as she was, there was definitely something off about her. Especially when you brought up the engagement. A tiny part of you hoped that today would make her realize that she was still in love with you too and she would run to you and it would be like a movie moment. You knew it wouldn't happen, but a guy can dream, right? You needed to see her again, you knew that one time wasn't enough. You had no idea how you'd go back to San Diego without her. Not to sound too dramatic but, was there anyway you could stop the wedding? I mean it's not like you'd show up at the wedding and say "I OBJECT!" but there had to be another way. She was the one. You hoped that you were the one to her too. Whenever you thought about her, every cheesy thought came to your mind. It was totally unlike you but it was nice. You had almost forgotten what it was like to love her. Two years without her was long enough. You realized in that moment, that you were going to get her back no matter what. But how? You immediately realized that you were being too dramatic. I mean, you loved her but if she doesn't even love you back, then that's ok. She deserves to be happy. You decided to text her. You would have called but you didn't know if her fiancé was with her.

"Hey" You typed. You didn't know what else to say so you just hit send. Within minutes she answered.

"Hey" She wrote back.

"Today was really great" You said.

"Yea, it really was" She then sent another message that read, "When did you wanna meet up again??"

"Whenever you're free" You don't think you've ever sent a text so fast.

"How's Saturday?" She answered after a few minutes.

"Perfect. Where do you wanna meet?"

"Do you know the Cosmo Hotel?" She asked.

"No, but I'll find it." You said.

"Be there or be square" She said. Now that was the (Y/N) you knew an loved.

"Oh I'll be there" You said before sending, "Btw you looked smokin' today girl"

"I know." You could just imagine her saying that. "You looked...ok" She said.

"And to think, I got all dressed up for you" You sent.

"Well hopefully you'll do better next time. I recommend you loose the glasses, gay retard" She was definitely beginning to sound like her old and fun self.

"Haha, I can't believe you still remember that. That means you must watch my vids, huh??"

"Oh I watch all of them. I'm your biggest fan" She said before sending, "That was sarcasm btw. I haven't seen your videos since we first started dating"

"You know, I still kept up with your photography" You said, making the mood a little more serious.

"You did??" She asked.

"Yea, of course. You may have a cold heart but you're great at what you do"

"Wow, that actually kinda warmed my little heart"

You two texted till midnight. It was only messages on a screen, but somehow it made you so happy. Talking to her just made you happy. You two agreed to meet on Saturday at the Cosmo Hotel at 12:00 pm. You couldn't be more excited. It was two days away but it seemed like an eternity. You didn't know what you two would do at a hotel but you had some ideas...
