You
You and Ian were meeting in Central Park, where you had met the first time. You purposefully didn't want to go back to the hotel. You wanted to figure things out before anything else could happen. It was Jason's day off and he wanted to spend time with you. You had to make up a lie to get him off your back. You felt bad but a part of you hoped that this would all be over soon. Your goal for today was to end one of these relationships. As much as you wanted to be with Ian, something was holding you back. And as much as you didn't want to be with Jason, you didn't want to let him go. Hopefully meeting with Ian would clear things up. You told Jason that you had to go into work to day and finish editing some photos for the final draft of the new issue. He understood and planned to just relax at home today. You got ready, you put on some jeans and a white top with lace details. You looked in the mirror one last time before leaving.Ian
You were on your way to Central Park to meet (Y/N). You felt bad about leaving Max and Joji hanging for videos, but this was almost more important. You were hoping this meeting would make (Y/N) realize that she wants to be with you too. You didn't understand how things were so complicated for her. It seemed so simple to you, either she loves you and wants to be with you, or she doesn't. You hoped that today would clear things up. When you finally got to Central Park, you saw her sitting on the same bench as last time. She looked so beautiful. You walked over to her and said nothing. She got up and you two hugged for a couple seconds too long."Hey" She said in a melancholy tone while trying to smile.
"Hey" You said, reciprocating the tone and smile. You didn't want this to be a sad conversation, but it almost seemed inevitable.
"Do you wanna walk around?" She asked.
"Yea, let's go."
"So..." She said as she got up from the bench.
"So." You repeated.
"Look, Ian, I'm so sorry I got us into this mess."
"Don't be sorry. It was both of us...and it's not even a mess..." You tried to sound reassuring.
"No it was my fault. If I wouldn't have given you my number in the first place, this whole situation wouldn't even exist. It also is a mess because I'm engaged, Ian, and I cheated on him." You had never seen her this conflicted. You felt bad.
"Ok, you're right, it is a mess. But we can fix it. Just tell me what you want and I'll make it happen." You said desperately.
"That's the thing, I don't know what I want. I mean I know it seems so simple and maybe it is, but in my mind everything is so complicated and fucked up. Look, Ian you have completely reeled me back in and it's not a bad thing. I love you and I always have and I probably always will. But I'm engaged...And I just...I don't know."
"I know your engaged. And I know that you need some time and that's ok. But I'm confused too, I didn't expect to come to New York and see you here. I didn't expect to fall back in love with you in the span of a couple days. I know it sounds cheesy and cliché but maybe this is like fate or something." That was probably the gayest thing you've ever said, but you meant every word.
You two continued to walk around Central Park, talking about your confusing feelings.
Third Person POV
Ian and (Y/N) had been walking for a couple hours now. They started to get tired, so they sat on a bench near a pond. They didn't know it, but Max and Joji had happened to be in the park as well. They were using the drone to get some cool shots. They flew it over the pond when Max suddenly pointed out something."Woah. Um can you make it go lower?" Max asked.
"Yea, why? What's going on?" Joji asked in a suspicious manner.
"I think...I think I just saw Ian. It might not be him but it sure looked like it."
As Joji lowered the drone he saw what Max had seen.
"Oh my god." Joji said, his jaw almost dropped. It wasn't even that shocking but he definitely wasn't expecting it.
"THAT IS THE CUNT" Max yelled.
"Hey, that's (Y/N), right?" Joji asked as if he didn't already know the answer.
"OF COURSE. WHO ELSE WOULD IT BE." Max continued yelling.
"Woah. Dude, calm down. I mean it's not even a big deal." Joji said, trying to play it off.
"Well it kind of is because he's been ditching us for that bitch...OH MY GOD ARE THEY MAKING OUT?" Max was known for being quite loud and dramatic.
"Maybe we should get the drone out of there..." Joji was definitely more calm, he felt creepy watching his good friend make out with his engaged ex-girlfriend.
"No leave it, I wanna see how this plays out." Max said in firm tone.
"Oh god." Joji said while handing the controls over to Max and trying to look away.
The two guys continued to watch Ian and (Y/N), in the most un-creepy way possible. Once the "couple" left, the boys got the drone out of there and filmed the rest of their videos before heading home.
