It was Saturday. All you could think about was Ian. You two were planning to meet at the Cosmo Hotel at 12:00 in the afternoon. As much as you wanted to see him, Jason was in the back of your mind. If something happened between you and Ian, would you finally have the balls to break up with Jason? I mean it seemed so simple, but it just wasn't. You didn't love Jason romantically but you two were engaged. You weren't necessarily in love with Ian right now, but that could change. Your feelings for Ian were unlike anything you had ever felt before. It would be so easy for him to reel you back in. The real reason you and Ian broke up was simple, you two wanted different things. This reason had been sugarcoated and at times this reason was forgotten, but it was always there. You wanted to get married, you wanted a family, you just wanted Ian forever. Ian wanted to focus on his career, he wanted to get married eventually, and he didn't want kids. There were other things too, of course. You just wanted to feel like you weren't something Ian could throw away so easily. You felt disposable to him. Part of the reason you "loved" Jason was because he always makes you feel wanted. It's such a small thing, but it's also so important. He treats you like a queen and he puts up with your shit. Ian did too, but in a different way. Ian never showed his love upfront. Well neither did you really, but you did so more than him. You began to wonder what things with Ian would be like a second time around. As much as you hoped it would be good, you had your doubts.

Ian
Your meeting with (Y/N) was half an hour away. You were already ready to go, but you had to ask Joji for some directions.

"Yea so you just make a right on 5th and it's just around the corner." Joji said, restating the directions he had just previously told you.

"Ok, I think I got it." You said.

"If not just call me." He said

"Got it." You said with a nervous expression on your face.

"Well I don't want to be late for your date, you should probably get going." He said, jokingly.

"Oh shut up." You said with a little smile.

"Oh, so it's not a date?" Asked Joji. You couldn't tell if he was joking or being serious.

"Eh not really. I mean, she's engaged." You said while rolling your eyes.

"Yea...I kinda saw the ring when I talked to her. I didn't want to say anything though."

"Yea, it's fine. She should be happy." You said trying to sound sincere.

"She didn't seem really happy. I mean how happy can she be if she's secretly meeting with her ex." He said.

What Joji said was true. How happy was she if she's secretly meeting with me? When we were together, she was always pretty open about meeting with Chris.

You made your way down to the hotel. You waited in the bar even though you weren't much of a drinker. You purposefully didn't get a room. You didn't want anything regrettable happening. As you waited for him, you wondered what he would be wearing, what he would look like, and how he would act. You decided to order a drink. You got a vodka soda and just waited for him to show up. You took a couple sips before realizing that you didn't even like the taste of alcohol. You then turned around and there he was. It was like the first time you saw him. He almost took your breathe away.

"Hey." He said as you got up and greeted him.

"Hey." You two hugged and it was nice. As you two sat down he ordered a red bull.

"So...it's nice to see you again." He said.

"Yea, It's nice to see you too." It was awkward. You took another sip of your vodka soda, hoping it would relax you.

"This is a nice hotel." He said, trying to make conversation.

"Yea, it's nice. I've never stayed here but I've heard good things." You said while looking around.

"I'm sorry this is so awkward." He blurted out.

"I'm sorry too. I don't know what I'm doing. I just...wanted to see you." You said nervously.

"I wanted to see you too..." He said as he put his hand on yours.

"Maybe we should go get a room and talk." You said, going against your better judgement.

"Ok." He said while nodding and looking into your eyes.

Ian
You two had gotten a room to "talk" and by "talk" you hoped that she meant sex. You weren't even expecting her to do something like this, considering she was engaged. You led her by the hand as you were walking towards your room. It was on the 15th floor. As you got to your room, you pinned her against the door and tried to open it as she was kissing your neck. Once you finally got it open, you pushed her inside. You two began removing your clothes as you made your way to the bed. You took off her shirt as she unbuttoned your jeans. You laid her down on the bed as you took off her skirt and panties. She removed the rest of your clothes as you planted kisses down her body...

You
That was amazing. It was everything you hoped it would be and more. Every time he touched you, it sent shock waves through your body. He was definitely the best you've ever been with. You two laid in bed cuddling afterwards. Part of you knew it was a mistake, but you didn't care. You didn't know what would happen next but you were excited to find out.
