Chapter 21

Third Person's POV

"Tom chew properly! I don't want to have to put my fingers down your throat again". Tom chuckled and chewed his food. "Max come back and eat your breakfast!" Louis wrapped his two strong arms around Niall's waist from behind and Niall leaned into Louis' touch.

"Goodmorning baby". Niall smiled and turned around in his arms, kissing him softly.

"Morning". Daniel came down the stairs. "Morning Daniel, when did you get home?"

"Last night". Daniel muttered looking anywhere but Louis and Niall.

"I didn't hear you come in". Daniel nodded but avoided any eye contact. Niall frowned.

"I'm going out". He left the kitchen in a rush and Niall's frown deepened.

"That was..."

"Odd?" Niall nodded.

"He never acts like that".

"Why would he -" realisation dawned over them.

"You don't think he-" Louis nodded, feeling very uncomfortable with the situation that their son heard them having sex.

"I think he did". Niall groaned.

"This is so awkward".

"Dada what awkward?"

"Nothing Tom. It's nothing".

"I finished dada". Niall looked at Tom's half full plate and sighed.

"Can you eat a little bit more for me?"

"Did lady come to take me away?" Niall frowned again.

"What are you talking about?"

"Night time lady come here".

"Oh. No Tommy it's okay, but I do need you to eat a little bit more, okay?" Tom took one more bite of his toast and pushed the plate away again. Tom smiled up at Niall, hoping he had pleased his dad and made him happy from the extra bite he took of his toast. Niall sighed and took the plate from the table. "Max! Come and eat your breakfast!" Max came running into the dining room.

"Papa? Can you take me to park? Please?" Louis looked over to Niall.

"It'll be good for you to spend some time with Max so go ahead! But later yeah?" Louis nodded, smiling.

"We'll go a little bit later, okay Max?" Max nodded.

"Dada I don't want toast!"

"Well then what do you want Max?"

"I want nu-grain!"

"We don't have any left Max". Niall sighed and watched as Max popped his lower lip out, widening his eyes as tears made his eyes glisten. "Max there's nothing I can do, you'll have to have something else just for now". Max frowned and huffed.

"I want nu-grain!" Nutri-grain was Max's favourite cereal which he had every morning but with Louis being home now and Tom not eating, Niall had completely forgotten the need to buy more.

"WE DONT HAVE ANY LEFT!" Niall yelled, losing his patience now. "You have to eat something else for today".

"I want nu-grain!" Max hit Niall.

"Max! How many times have I told you not to hit people!?" Niall grabbed his arm.

"Niall, calm down babe". Louis rested his hand on Niall's shoulder. Niall shrugged Louis' hand off and pulled Max upstairs, shoving him in his room.
