How I Became Savannah Solo Part 4

Monday January 4th

Yes I did change the cover but it's the same story! Alright I skipped a couple days after New Years! My updates may be a little off time but I'll do my best to post around every two days! Dont forget to vote please! - Blaire

I woke up and let Duke out. I put on my leggings, uggs, and our national team jacket. I let Duke inside and did my hair. Brad picked me up and we went to school. I went around to my teachers and got all of my work. I put my work in my backpack and Brad drove me to the airport. I said goodbye and then went through security. I boarded my plane and got my seat. I landed in California and went to the National Training Center. I walked into where the girls were eating.

Me: Know the party can begin
Kelley: Baby Horse!
Alex: Twin!

They got up and hugged me. I fixed my plate and sat down.

Me: So I beat my record this past couple of games. I am now at 25.
Alex: Dang
Me: oh I also played keeper in one of our games and kept a clean sheet.
Kelley: what is it with Solo's being goalies.
Me: one time thing
Hope: did you make any saves?
Me: I only had to make one really good save the rest were easy
Ali: are you training with us today?
Me: I'm not sure, I don't even know who I am rooming with
Alex: That would be me
Kelley: yeah you are across the hall from me and Hope
Alex: well let's go get you settled in.

We all got up and went to our rooms. Alex had the bed by the door so I had the one next to the window. I put my bathroom stuff on the counter and then set up my desk. I put my laptop in the middle, school work on the left, and my iPad and schedule on the right.

Alex: dang got enough school work?
Me: it's a months' worth, ooh I just got a message from Jill she said I could train if I wanted.
Alex: we should go get your stuff then because we have 10 minutes before we walk down.

We got my stuff and I changed before walking down to the field. We got the field and put our cleats. We did warmups and then did ball touches. We scrimmaged 5v5 to finish out practice. The walk back wasn't long and we went to dinner.

Ash: hey Tobs, Baby Horse wanna go ride after we eat?
Tobs: yeah
Me: yeah

After we ate we changed and grabbed our longboards. We set out and coasted along the beach. We stopped and sat on a cliff edge. We talked for a while and then the 3 of us got up and rode back to the center. We went to our rooms and showered. I sat down and called Brad.

Brad: hey Baby
Me: hey
Brad: how was your day?
Me: good I got my first training in. there are actually 3 other new player. They're 22 so I'm still the youngest and will be for a while
Brad: that's not a bad thing though
Me: yeah, how was school?
Brad: good. I overheard our old English teacher talking about you again.
Me: Shocker, what'd she say?
Brad: just that you are getting everything handed to you now that you're famous
Me: I worked to get here but forget her I don't care. How is Duke?
Brad: I was waiting for you to ask. He's good and he is now running 4 ½ miles
Me: oh yeah how did the game go?
Brad: they won 2-0. Megan and Anna scored
Me: good. Well I should get to bed, goodnight babe
Brad: Goodnight baby I love you
Me: I love you too.

I hung and then fell asleep.
