How I Became Savannah Solo Part 4

Ash and I woke up and I changed into my onesie since its all I had. I stopped by Kelley's room and we went down together. Hope of course was already there and took our picture as we fixed our plates.

Hope's post: My 5 years olds want to act like 5 years olds so I dressed them accordingly. #1n2.

Kelley and I ate and watched Veggie Tales with Ryan. After breakfast Hope gave Kelley and I our clothes back so we could change. I found a ball and played soccer tennis with Tobin until lunch. We had a film session and then loaded the bus. We got to the locker room and changed for warmups. We did dynamics and ball touches before individual drills.

We changed into our jerseys and jackets and lined up for walk out. It was Carli, Hope. Broon. Kelley, Me. Kling, Ali, Alex, Moe, JJ, and then Tobin. We did the anthem and introductions before getting the starting 11 picture. We took the field against Trinidad and Tobago had the kick off. The ref blew the whistle and they sent it back to. We won it shortly after, Kling passed me the ball and I went up the left side of the field. I cut back and crossed the ball on the ground.

Announcer: Klingenberg to Baby Horse, heading towards the box. Morgan and Lloyd streaking, cuts back and the ball is sent in. Heath! Shot! And Goal. US leads 1-0 in the 12th minute.

We celebrated around Tobin and then set back up. We fought over the ball for a while until Kelley beat her defender and sent in a cross.

Announcer: O'Hara with the cross, header from Morgan it's blocked and Lloyd with the touch and Goal! US leads 2-0 in the 30th minute.

We set back up and kicked off again.

Announcer: Brian taking the corner. The ball is in and Morgan with the header, Goal. US leads 3-0.

Nobody scored again in the first half and we headed to the locker room. We took the field again and Whitney subbed in for JJ. The ref blew the whistle and we kicked off. We kept the ball and had a couple chances. We finally capitalized in the 71st minute.

Announcer: Corner from Brian. O'Hara heads it, cleared by Forbes, Morgan's header off the crossbar and Lloyd volley's it in! 2nd goal from Lloyd to help put the Us up 4-0.

We set back up and had to win the ball back from T&T.

Announcer: Brian sends it in to Lloyd and hat trick from Carli Lloyd. US is up 5-0.

We didn't score again and the ref blew the final whistle. We celebrated and went to the bench. Dawn gave us our recovery drinks and everyone spilt up to autographs, interviews, or head to the locker room. After I did about 70 autographs I went to the locker and then got on the bus. By 9:00 everybody was loaded up and we went back to the hotel.

Alex: Baby Horse how did your high school do?
Me: they went into overtime but we won 1-0 with a goal from Connor.
Hope: who do you play in the final?
Me: Mt. Carmel. It's going to be a tough game but I'm glad I get to be there this time.

We got back to the hotel and unloaded. I got my food from Dawn and then went to my room. Ashlyn and I showered and then went to bed.
