Italics: thoughts

Normal POV

"Sasuke-kun!!!!" Came the calls of a pink haired girl and a pale-blonde haired girl. The two entered the academy classroom only to see said person wasn't there.

"He's over there" Kiba said pointing out the window, "lately I think he's been looking at someone". The girls looked out the window to see he was in fact outside on a tall tree. He seemed to be staring off into the distance with slight pink cheeks.

"Too bad for you girls that prick likes someone else!!!" He said mockingly. He was hit various times. The pinkie was Sakura Haruno, the other Ino Yamanaka. After a few minutes, Sasuke entered the classroom with his usual broody attitude.

Today was the day of team assignments, the girls were excited to see who would be put on their precious Uchiha's team.

The guys were hoping that they wouldn't be stuck with a rabid fangirl.

"This is troublesome" Shikamaru said.

"Eh? Aren't you excited" Choji asked.

"Not in the slightest"

It was then that Iruka entered the room and quieted the students.

"Good job on passing all of you, here are your teams"

Skip..........."Team Seven is Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, and your sensei is Kakashi Hatake. We are short on team members this year so you'll meet your third teammate later."

At this Sakura jumped for joy.

"Ha I win Ino-pig!!! I'm on Sasuke-kun's team".

"Nooooo!!!" Ino exclaimed.

"Settle down now " Iruka told them.

"Please wait for your senseis to arrive" Iruka said before exiting the classroom. It wasn't too long after that teams 7, 8, and 9 were the only ones left. The door opened to reveal 3 jonnin and the hokage.

"Asuma team 10"

"Kurenai team 8"

"Kakashi team 7"

The children went over to their assigned sensei.

"Excuse me, but why are you here Hokage-sama?" Sakura asked politely.

"Ah yes, I've come to introduce you to the third member of team seven, Naruto come here"

(Looks like cover with smaller pigtails and not smiling, don't own picture)

Out from the door came a blonde haired girl with whisker marks and pigtails. She quickly hid behind the Hokage.

All the Gennin looked around at each other. Though they were surprised to see Sasuke looking at the floor, the slight pink back. They once again looked at the girl.

"Introduce yourself " someone said.

(Her tone of voice is calm and also emotionless)

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki and I'm 13. I like ramen"

"Well I should get going, bye Naru-chan" the Hokage said before leaving.

Teams 8 and 10 went on their way as well.

"To the roof" Kakashi said and disappeared in a poof of smoke. Naruto disappeared the same way soon after, leaving the other two to walk up the stairs.

(Sakura and Kakashi's introductions are the same. Sasuke knows about Itachi's reasons for killing his clan)

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha, I like tomatoes and not much else. I dislike a lot of things. My goal no, ambition, is to one day kill a certain someone"

Cue the fangirling from Sakura

"OK then tomorrow meet me at training ground seven at 6. Oh, and don't eat breakfast or you'll puke" Kakashi said and with that he was gone.

"You should eat" Naruto said before leaving as well.
