Normal POV

It was Christmas Day and it was very cold. The Konoha 12 were gathered at one of the training grounds just to wish each other a Merry Christmas. Once every one arrived they began to speak about their family plans for today. Of course this left Sasuke and Naruto with nothing to say. Naruto glanced around and saw Sasuke looking kind of down. Ino and Sakura soon realized that Sasuke could spend Christmas with them because he had no one to celebrate with.

"Sasuke-kun!!! You can come spend Christmas with my family if you'd like!!" She exclaimed as she grabbed one of his arms.

"No way forehead!!! If he's spending Christmas with anyone it should be me and my family!!" Ino said as she appeared on the other side of Sasuke, grabbing his other arm.

Sasuke managed to get free and coldly declined, that somewhat sad look still in his eyes.

Soon everyone dispersed and most went home. Naruto; however, went to the Ichiraku's stand. She was just going to eat a bowl of ramen before heading home, when she noticed Sasuke glumly glancing at the happy families on his way home.

Sakura had already gone home to her family, after having her invitation rejected she simply brushed it off with holiday excitement.

It was then that Naruto had an idea.

"Ayame-nee? Could you buy me a small Christmas cake?" Naruto asked

"Sure but what for?" Ayame responded.

"No reason" Naruto said looking to the side.

Ayame took a quick break from the stand to buy a small cake with holiday ornaments. Naruto had asked Ayame to buy it because no one would sell her a cake.

"Thanks" Naruto said as she took the cake and went in the direction of the Uchiha compound. She found Sasuke's house amidst the many empty ones and knocked on the door.

Sasuke opened the door expecting to see one of his fangirls with a gift our something only to see Naruto. Her face was slightly red, either because of the cold or slight embarrassment of her own concern.

"Um.." Naruto began, "I knew you'd be alone today like me and I saw you looking kind of down so I brought a cake. Could I come in?"

Sasuke was internally jumping for joy but tried not to let it show to much.

"Y..yeah sure!" Sasuke said.

As Naruto walked into the house it began to snow. They ate some cake, watched a movie, and because it was so cold they shared a blanket. Sometime later, Naruto fell asleep leaning on Sasuke's shoulder. Still sharing the blanket for warmth she cuddled up to him causing him to blush slightly, already kind of use to this kind of situation. In Sasuke's mind, this was the best day of his life, but that would probably change sooner or later.
