Katie and Mitch (BajanCanadian)

*Katie's POV*

I sit back and relax. I was laying on a towel that was in the sand. Where am I? I'm in Hawaii for three weeks. I just graduated high school.

I decided to go to college, but I have the whole summer. That's why I am here--to relax.

I was supposed to come here with some friends for my eighteenth birthday which was in March, but the flight got cancelled.

Am I here alone? No.

I brought my friends with me. Everyone but my best friend Hannah are in the water. Hannah and I decided to get a nice tan.

Hannah and I have been best friends since the sixth grade. We live in Ohio and have since we were born. We both are going to the same college - of course - because we don't want to split up.

Where are we going to college? In Canada. Montreal to be exact. They have a great computer program which is why we are going. Another plus to going to college there is that Mitchell Hughes or YouTube famous BajanCanadian lives there.

There is a chance we may get to meet him. I have watched his videos since he started making them.

My dream has always been to meet him and all of his friends.

"Katie? Hello?" I hear Hannah ask.

"Oh, sorry. What was that?"

"You kind of zoned out. Are you okay?"

"Oh, yeah sorry."

"Nick was calling you."

Nick is my older brother. Well, he's only a year older. He's cool, sometimes that is. My parents said he had to come or else they would come instead. I basically had two choices. Parents or brother. I chose brother. I get along with him better than I do my parents.

They always wanted me to be some kind of doctor or a lawyer. I never found those interesting. They never liked the people I hung out with. Of course, I didn't care. I never listened to them.

I get up and walk over to where Nick was.

"What's up Nick?" I ask.

He get's up to walk over to me. "Having fun?" He asks.

"Yeah why?" I ask.

"Just wondering. Let me know if this changes that." I give him a 'What are you doing?' look and start to back away.

He grabs my wrist and turn me around. He lifts me up and carries me out into the water.

"Nick! Let me go!" I scream at him.

"Okay." He says and drops me.

I pop back out of the water and give him a death glare.

"I did what you asked." He said smiling. "Isn't that what you always wanted? For me to listen to you."

"You're an ass." I say and start heading back to the shore.

I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking. I was focusing on squeezing the water out of my hair.

I ran into someone stumbled back a few steps.

"Sorry." I quickly say and then look up at him.

"It's fine." He says and starts walking with his friend again.

Those two looked really familiar. Where do I know them from?

I could hear them talking. Their voices sounded familiar too.

I walk over to where Hanna still was. I nod over in the boys' direction and ask, "Do they look familiar to you?"

"Actually, they do." She ponders on that thought for a minute as I dry off. "Wait, that's Mitch and Mat. You know, BajanCanadian and NoochM? Ring a bell?"

My eyes widen. I ran into BajanCanadian. Why is that so hard to believe? Probably because it was never likely that I would meet him. Well, unless I got tickets to Pax or Minecon, or I met him in Montreal, but seriously, Hawaii!

I close my eys and relax again thinking about my run-in with Mitch and Mat.

All of a sudden I fell something wet hit my stomach. It starts flopping around. Soon after I hear Hannah scream. I open my eyes and find a fish on me. It was one of those that swim in the really shollow water. I scream and hit it off of me. I see Nick and his friend Josh getting more.

Hannah and I have the same thought. We both get up and run in the same direction. I look over my shoulder and see both of them chasing us with buckets.I turn back around and continue running. I see Hannah look over her shoulder and then stop.

"Katie, where did they go?" she asks me. I turn around and see that they are indeed gone. "Uh... This is a problem."

She walks a little back in the direction which we came from. They pop out of the bushes and she freezes. I turn and run into someone again. This person was on their phone.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." I say and look at the person's face. It was Mitch. Again.

"Twice in one day." He laughs. "What's your name?"

"Katie." I reply.

"Well hello Katie. I'm sorry for running into you. Let me buy you a coffee to make up for it?"

"Well, -"

"Katie!" I hear Hannah well.

"Well I have to do it. How long are you here for?"

"Three weeks."

"Here." He says and hands me his phone. "Put your number in and I will call you. We can set something up."

"Okay. I quickly enter my number into his phone.

"Talk to you later then." I say.

"Definitely." He says and turns around and starts waliking away.

I was going to get coffee with Mitchell Hughes.
