*Kaylee's POV*

I can't believe it. I'm actually getting married. And today is the day; after five months of being engaged, the wedding is here.

Taking a deep breath, I open my eyes and stare at my reflection in the mirror. My dress is on, my makeup done, and my hair in a fishtail braid hanging over my shoulder.

"Kaylee, five minutes," my best friend Lindsey says from the other room.

"Okay," I answer shakily.

I'm not nervous about marrying Jason; I really love him. I'm nervous about something going wrong. Me tripping while walking down the isle. Someone objecting to the marriage. I know it's silly, because he'd never do something like this, but I'm scared he'll run out on me.

I mean, who wouldn't. Doesn't that thought run through everyone's mind at some point, whether it's at the beginning of the engagement or at the very end? Maybe it's just me...

"Kaylee, let's go," Lindsay says, stepping in view at the doorway of the bathroom.

I look away from the mirror to look at Lindsay, and I nod. I walk over to her, and she slips the vail on my head before taking my hand. She leads me down the hallway until the crowd is in view.

I stand a few feet from the doorway, which is a straight line from the alter. I notice how beautiful everything looks. Lindsay wouldn't let me help plan anything, or even see anything, but now that I have...wow.

The place picked for the wedding was this grand hotel with a back. In the back, a very wide concrete pathway goes past my view. In the center is a round fountain, which is streaming water. The pathway leads off the the right where the reception area has been designated. There is also an area inside. The

The theme colors are lavender purple and white. The chairs are all white. There are also chairs set up around tables all around the dance floor. The tables are covered in cloth lavender tablecloths. White carnations sit in lavender vases on the tables. Purple lights hang over the dance floor. A DJ station is set up on the corner of the dance floor.

I'm too busy paying attention to the decorations that I barely hear the wedding march song start. My father holds his arm out, and I grip his bicep. It isn't very often that I wear heels, and now that I am, I don't want to trip.

Taking deep breaths, I walk down the concrete path, my father at my side, focusing on walking. I do things just as we practiced during the rehearsal.

When I see Jason, he's smiling brightly at me, his hands folded over each other in front of him. He's in the standards tux. Black and white. When I see his smile, my nervousness fades away, and I smile brightly.

It feels like only seconds before I'm standing directly in front of him and he's taking my hand. When we are standing right in front of each other, even though the crowd is to my right and the priest is to my left, it feels like we are the only ones present.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered her today to join this couple in holy matrimony.."

The whole ceremony goes by so fast. In minutes it feels like, I'm saying I do right after Jason does.

"You may kiss the bride," we are told.

Jason presses his lips softly to mine and everyone begins to clap. The kiss only lasts ten seconds maybe, and then Jason pulls away.

"I love you," he whispers in my ear before turning to the crowd.

"Thank you all for coming," Jason says to the crowd. "Now, who's ready for the reception?"

Everyone cheers in response and begins making their way over to the reception area. Jason is about to take me over there when Lindsay runs up to us.

"Woah, woah, woah," she says.

She points at me, but says so Jason, "She needs to get changed into her reception outfit."

Then looking at me, "You need to get changed. Let's go."

Lindsay grabs my hand and drags me away towards the hotel. I look back at Jason and wink. I'll be out again very soon.

The reception dress is a knee length, lavender color, silk dress with a V-neckline. The dress shines in the lighting, and I can't imagine it in the purple lights over the dance floor.

Once we are back outside, I find Jason, who smiles at my very sight. Every time see him smile, I have to smile.

"Hey," I say.

"Hey, gorgeous," he replies, kissing my cheek.

"You're being very sweet," I comment.

"Aren't I always?"

"Good point."

We don't get much time alone. So many people come up to congratulate and talk to us. It's expected though.

"Time for the bride and grooms special dance," the DJ announces playing a song.

Not any song though. It's our song, the song that was playing when we first kissed at a little cafe. It's actually our favorite cafe.

I rest my head on Jason's shoulder and sigh in content. "I really, really love you."

"I love you so much too baby," Jason replies.

I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
