(A/N: Don't be confused😊😊 this is just a filler chapter after the big plot twist. Basically this chapter could be anywhere on the plot line, I just thought you might need a break before the sad stuff😕)

"Where's the rest of sandwich meat?" I yelled from the kitchen.

"I ate it all." Alec replied bluntly.

I groaned, walking into the living room to spot a half naked Alec watching basketball. God dammit why does he look so fricking hot.

Trying to not stare at his well defined abs I looked up at his face with a angered expression.

"Well there's no food in the fridge, and I have to make my lunch tomorrow, not to mention dinner tonight."

"Well then go to the store Grace." He said, paying more attention to the screen then to what we were talking about.

I snatched the remote that was laying innocently next to him and turned off the TV.

"Hey!" Alec complained.

"Come on." I smacked his shoulder. "Hurry up and get dress, I'm hungry and we need food."

Pulling up to Meijers, I searched the parking lot for a open spot, that was an adventure inside itself.

"Hurry!" I yelled to Alec who was craning his neck looking for an spot. "I see one over there."

Alec raced over to the spot and we got there just in time, seconds later another car pulled up who had been looking at the same spot. Being the nice people they were, they gave us three loud honks and drove away.

"Haha! Chupar mis chupadores de pollas!" Alec yelled after the car. (Please don't even translate this, he's a guy. I think you can figure it out yourself)

"What did you say?" I asked.

"I thanked them for honking at us." He said dryly.

"Ok ok I can hear the sarcasm from over here." I laughed as I pulled a cart from the outdoor cart racks.

"How do you even know Spanish?" I asked curious as we walked into the store through the automatic doors.

"I'm half Mexican, my mom was born there." He answered, he seemed pushy about the topic, so I didn't ask him any more questions.

As we walked silently through the aisles, Alec childishly looked at the list I had given him to find the stuff, he looked like a little kid in a candy store.

As I studied him, I could see his Mexican features, tan skin, darker hair. But there wasn't anything other than that. He had sea blue eyes, and his hair wasn't super dark, more of a chocolate color.

"Woah.." Alec breathed, snapping me out of a trance and looking over his shoulder to see what he was gaping at.

Oh no.

The candy aisle.

"Grace...." Alec started, twirling around to smile at me. "Did I ever tell you how pretty you look today?"

I rolled my eyes, trying to hide my blush the best I could.

"Your a grown man, you can buy it for yourself." I rolled my eyes,
