"You what!?" Camille shouted through the phone, practically blowing my eardrum out. I winced. I knew this was a bad idea, I should've told Maddie first.

"We kissed." I stated again, felling my cheeks burn at the memory.

"Finally!" Camille exclaimed. "You have no idea how long I have waited for this moment!"

"What do you mean?" I stuttered.

"Well you guys live together, it was only a matter of time.." she started.

"Hey slow down!" I said. "It was just a kiss, it's not like we're dating or anything."

"Whatever." Camille deadpanned, I could practically see her rolling her eyes. "I have to go to class, tell me if anything else happens."

"Camille!" I shouted, she giggled and hung up on me. I let out a exasperated sigh, flopping onto my bed.

I swear she's going to be the death of me.

We had just gotten home a couple days ago, so it was still winter break, thankfully. I couldn't imagine taking extra courses like my crazy friends did.

I checked my phone, looking at my calendar for the first week of school, which was coming soon. I was counting the days when I realized what today was.

New Years Eve.

I had been so busy with everything at my moms and just Christmas stress in general I hadn't thought about how it was almost the end of the year, in about 12 hours to be exact.

I sprung out of bed, walking across the living room to Alec's bedroom door.

"Alec?" I knocked. "Are you in there?"

"Yeah." He sniffed.

Was he crying?

"Are you ok?" I asked, opening the door.

"Yeah yeah!" He said sniffing again. "I'm just sick."

He sat up in his bed, the comforter lay just above his v-line, so his muscular chest was bare. His eyes were watery and his nose was red.

"Wow you look really sick." I gasped. He smiled lightly but quickly laid back down.

"I'm fine." He said quickly, but I ignored him feeling his forehead.

"Well you don't have a fever.." I continued. "Maybe you just have a cold, do you want some soup?"

"I told you I'm fine." He said. "Besides your soup might make me more sick."

A smirk played along his lips, but he quickly frowned, coughing loudly. I rolled my eyes at his joke.

"You shouldn't joke right now." I scolded turning back to the door. "I'm making you soup, and it will be the best soup you've ever had!"

I really tried making soup, it really shouldn't have been that hard. I read the directions carefully, pouring the can into the pot. Stirring it carefully so it wouldn't catch on fire. (A/N: Grace really has no idea how to cook)

Finally satisfied with my masterpiece, I turned off the stove and grabbed a bowl.

Pouring the soup into the bowl, I sipped a little, making sure it wasn't lethal. And it wasn't that bad, but I guess you can't really mess up chicken noddle soup.
