I finished packing my gifts delicately into a separate bag, setting them next to my black duffel bag that had my overnight stuff in.
I checked my phone, it was 9:00. Only an hour before we'd be at my moms house for Christmas.
I took a breathe, trying to calm my nerves. I don't even know why I'm so nervous.
I heard a knock on the door. "Come in." I called.
Alec opened the door, and did he look good. Like really good. Wait what?
I turned fully around to see him. He had on a white dress shirt with a navy blue tie and some nice jeans.
I must have stared for a little too long cause he turned pink, but quickly recovered flipping invisible hair off his shoulder.
"Don't I look sexy." He said posing.
I rolled my eyes putting my two bags on my bed. Then the mirror caught my eye.
I had completely forgetting to change.
"Shit." I muttered taking the bags off my bed and handing them to Alec.
"No peeking." I said quickly, taking my clothes into the bathroom to change.
I pulled on a red sweater and a skirt. Pulling on long white stockings and my favorite brown boots. I put on a couple layers of mascara and some lipgloss for good measure. I didn't want to look underdressed compared to Alec.
I thought about curling my hair, but finally decided against it considering it would take too long. (A/N: Her hair is pretty straight)
I grabbed my purse from the top of my dresser and walked out towards the front door, Alec had already put on his coat and shoes, holding his bags and my own.
I caught his eye as they widened. Pink tinged my cheeks as his eyes scanned me.
I tried to not look embarrassed .
"Don't I look sexy." I mocked him.
He whispered something that I couldn't hear. I smiled, looking down at my shoes, the blush had reached my ears now. He smirk, a naughty look glinted his eyes for a moment, before they returned to normal. I reached for my coat and scarf in the closet.
"Do we have everything?" I stuttered taking my bags from him.
"I think so." He answered.
He held the outside door of our apartment open for me.
I sighed as I stepped into the crisp December air.
Family, please don't embarrass me.

Alec's POV
Grace handed me her bags. "No peeking." She said.
I don't know wether she meant the present or her changing.
I went outside of her bedroom, setting the bags on the ground, to take away my temptation for either of them. Staring into the mirror, I took a deep breathe.
