A/N: I finally found a picture that looks like how I imagine Grace(this is Kate Hadson, but she looks a lot younger in this picture) hope you enjoy!
I opened my eyes, stretching as I stared at the cream wall of the guest bedroom. The fan above blew the silk curtains, making light spill into the room, dancing along the walls.
I rubbed my eyes, inhaling a incense that filled the house.
French toast.
Mom hasn't made French toast in along time.
I smiled, pulling the covers away I noticed the empty spot beside me on the bed. Where was Alec?
I got out of bed, turning the door knob I stepped into the warm hallway.
It really was cold in that room.
I walked into down the stairway, following the sweet smell into the kitchen, were my mom and Alec were standing by the stove in their pajamas, deep in conversation.
"Merry Christmas." I chirped, inhaling again.
Alec and my mom both turned, I walked over to my mom giving her a hug. I gave Alec a big smiled, he returned it . "I'll go get the powdered sugar." He said before walking into the kitchen pantry.
My mom beamed as he walked away. "You better marry this boy."
"What?" I stuttered, feeling my cheeks start to burn. "Why the sudden feeling?"
She smiled, ignoring my question, she turned back to the stove. Alec quickly came in and handed her a metal shaker labeled 'powdered sugar' written in white paint.
I peeked over her shoulder, watching her shake the substance onto the French toast that had finished cooking.
I shook my head at the generous amount my mom had put onto the breakfast, walking to the fridge I took out the jug of almond milk and pouring a cup for myself.
Suddenly a heard a squeal, followed my footsteps coming from upstairs. I peeked out of the kitchen to see Meagan bouncing down the stairs, pulling Alexander who was try to follow as fast as he could.
"Slow down child!" His accent slurred the hard syllables.
"But it's Christmas!" Meagan exclaimed.
I giggled leaning against the kitchen cased opening watching as Meagan bantered on about how her dad should be more excited about Christmas. But I don't think Alexander really liked the mornings.
"That was you you know." My Mom said joining me to watch by the cased opening. "Your.. father never liked mornings, or the winter."
I sighed. That's the only thing my father and Alexander had in common.

Slowly everyone piled out of there rooms, we all had breakfast and got to open presents. Most of them were stupid, but in a good way. I laughed at the Gigi Hadid body pillow Camille had gotten Andrew, for jokes of course.
After a couple very competitive card games and about a gallon of hot chocolate and coffee. Ryan, Maddie, Andrew, Camille, and Camille's family left. I assume Ryan and Maddie and Andrew and Camille left to go see the boys families.
While my mom, Aunt Josie, Kyle, Rebecca and Alexander talked by the fireplace. Alec and I had promised them we would take Meagan outside to play.
