"Get ready were leaving in thirty minutes." I said triumphantly as I walked into my room to get ready.

That certainly raised my spirits cause I was grinning like a maniac but I just couldn't help it.

I quickly got dressed, putting on a sweatshirt with a flowy tank top underneath, along with some jeans shorts and my white converse.

I heard a knock on the door.

"Grace?"

"What Alec?"

"You never told me where we were going."

"You'll see, just wear something comfortable."

I smiled a bit more as I heard him quietly groan, it's fun to keep secrets sometimes.

I sat down on the couch to wait for Alec, tapping my leg impatiently.

Suddenly my phone rang, I picked it up to see that Camille was calling.

"Hey Camille."

"Hey girl, Ryan, Andrew, Maddie, and I are going for ice-cream, you wanna come?"

"Actually I'm busy today, me and Alec are going somewhere."

"Ooh like a date?"

"No, I mean I guess? I don't know but it's just between friends I think."

Camille laughed. "Whatever you say Grace, have fun and remember to use protection."

"Camille!" I shouted at the phone, but she had already hung up.

I groaned. My friends can be so infuriating sometimes.

I put my phone in my purse as Alec came out of his room, he was wearing a black sweatshirt, much like my own, and some shorts.

I chuckled. "We're twining."

He realized this himself. "You want me to changed?"

I shook my head has I got up. "I think it's cute, now come on."

I dragged him out to the car and he handed me the keys.

"Please don't damage my baby." Alec said getting into the passenger seat.

I glanced at the Mustangs interior as I put the keys into the ignition.

"Don't worry, I know how to drive."

"You almost hit that guy!"

"Well he was speeding!"

"Your not the one getting a degree in criminal justice Grace!"

Me and Alec were arguing at a red stop light. I have to admit, I wasn't the best at driving.

"You should have just let me drive, geez woman!"

I shrugged and pressed onto the gas petal as the light turned green
