Mark's POV

I decided to run to the flaming fiery death. I didn't actually... I would like to keep my floofy hair. I actually ran around different building because... Exercise. Eventually I went into a building that was pretty empty, it might've been an abandoned museum or restaurant due to the nice decoration.

I sneaked around careful of stepping on a trap or something loud, I made sure to look around each corner to see if anyone was there. It wasn't very easy being quiet because the building would leave echoes with each step I took.

I heard a small scream and the halls just made it louder. I immediately ran out to the scream without thinking what it could be. When I got into a room there was a pillar that began to crack and before I knew it, it started to fall.

Your POV

I shielded my hand trying to block the giant pillar, although my arm would've been crushed it was worth a shot. I didn't feel a strike a pain so I opened my eyes and covered them from the falling rubble. When most of the rubble stopped falling down I could see what had happened. I looked up to a man with a incredibly dumb smirk on his face.

"Thanks, Mark" I said as I brushed more of the rubble off of me. He smiled then pushed the pillar away, but of course that lead to a chain reaction and the rest of the pillars fell. He grabbed my arm and tugged me along.

We ran out of the building out of breath. He put his hand up signalling for a highfive. I returned the highfive/I did not. He slowly put his hand back to his knee.

"Sorry, but at least we're still alive" He said.

I couldn't help to smile."Yeah..."

"We should find the rest of the group-"

"It was your idea to split us up" I mumbled something "I had to see a little girl witness her mothers death and she'll probably have to go up for adoption because her dad left her or maybe even died..."

Mark quickly looked around "I'm sorry, I thought it would be the best plan!" He shouted.

I sighed "Let's just go"

We continued to walk around a bit, not much talking between us. We finally came to a rather large building which also seemed to be abandoned. We snuck in through a window because the doors were either locked or boarded up.

We came to a stop when we heard two voices. I could tell one of the voices was Patty. We quietly snuck around. We hid behind a wall and carefully listened to the conversation.

"Where's your little friends?" I heard followed by laughing. I could tell who Patty was facing. All I can say is it's not gonna get any better from here.
