Chapter 12

ALEXIS' POV:

I waited for the doctor to come out and tell us how Noah is but its been 4 hours since he came out which worried me. I just...there can be a lot of things wrong with him. He could possibly die. I just couldn't think about it. Derek said I should look at the bright side but I didn't want to. Allison said to have faith but I didn't have any. Scott said to hope for the best and prepare for the worst, which I was already doing. 

Also, Stiles called Isaac about it like 4 hours ago and he still hasn't come yet. Glad to see he cares. He's probably out with 'Jasmine' which made me mad because his child is in the hospital. His 4 year old child. Hurt, hungry...

The next day we were still waiting for any news but nothing. Isaac finally came last night at like 1am but hasn't said anything. He didn't even sleep, he literally stayed up all night waiting. He never took his eyes off the door. 

At about 3am I lost it. Sobs escaping my mouth I lifted my head up from Stiles' shoulder and walks over to Isaac wanting a hug. He finally looks up at me and opens his arms, tears stinging his eyes. My trembling body sat on his lap and hugged him tightly, hiding my face in his neck crying more. Which made a few tears slide down his cheek too. 

After 30 minutes of crying, I drifted asleep on Isaac which I didn't plan on doing. But I felt someone tapping on me. My eyes fluttering open to meet his blue eyes which were bloodshot red from crying. He licked his dry lips slowly, "The doctor said...we can see him" He muttered pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

I quickly got up Isaac following close behind as the doctor led us to his room. When they opened the door, I was shocked seeing his fragile body connected to all these machines and his so skinny body in this huge bed. He lightly snored cuddling his bear I got him when he was first born. I wanted to run to him and cry but I just stood there. 

But I finally walked in and sat down in the chair next to his bed, putting his small hand in mine giving it a quick kiss before talking. "hey baby. I really hope you wake up soon. Mommy missed you so much" My voice cracked at the end. I choked back my tears making sure not to cry this time so I don't get a huge headache like the other day. 

Isaac sat on the couch by the window and watched me I looked up, "You can sleep now. It looks like you need a lot of sleep" I said. After he nodded closing his tired eyes quickly hearing him lightly snore as well. I rested my head on his bed, falling asleep with his hand in mine.

I woke up to a lot of movement on the bed. My eyes shot up and I looked up at the little boy that meant the world to me. His mop of curls covering his eyes since he hasn't had a haircut in a year. I slowly moved his hair out of his face so I can see those big blue eyes looking back at me. He tilted his head at me shocked to actually see me right in front of him. He softly put his small hand on my cheek, making sure if I was really here.

I smiled, "Mommy?" He softly spoke. I nodded and seen him quickly crawl to me and hug me wrapping his tiny arms around my neck. I heard soft sobs escape his mouth. I pulled away looking at him. Tears rushing down his red cheeks. I quickly brushed them away.

"I-I...I missed you..." Was all he said. I sat there afraid to cry. "I know. I missed you too..." I rubbed his hand with my thumb and looked over at Isaac who was still sleeping uncomfortably on the tiny hospital couch. 

I looked back at Noah and smiled. "I love you..." I mumbled kissing his forehead.
