--Chapter 26--
ALEXIS' POV:
I sat on the couch daydreaming for about 2 hours until Isaac came down staring at me, trying to get me to talk. But nothing. I was scared of what Isaac might do because when he gets pissed, oh you can't stop him.
"Lex, please talk" He pleaded looking at me, I shrugged looking at him. "He didn't make it Isaac" I blurt out quickly not even thinking about how to say it, "W-what?" He said low but loud enough for me to hear.
"The baby struggled to stay alive.." I whispered looking into his eyes which turned dark fast. Anger boiling inside of him. Here he goes.
He got up punching the wall. "Calm down.." I said and flinched when I heard him stomp over to me, "Calm down? Yeah. No." He said coldly, his muscles flexed hard when he was angry. He slammed his fist on the coffee table and walked out of the house, slamming the door behind him.
"Drama queen" I mumbled seeing Noah run downstairs scared at the pounding that was going on. "What was that?" He asked looking at me with those puppy blue eyes. I shook my head putting him on my lap.
"Mommy has to talk to you about your little brother." I ran my hand through my hair sighing. "Well, your brother isn't coming home." His eyes widen. "Why?" He questioned.
"He's in a home that's far away because he's sick" I tried to make it easy for him but was just confusing myself. "Oh.." He simply said and jumped down. "I'm hungry" He grabbed my hand trying to pull my towards the kitchen. I laughed walking into the kitchen giving him mini pancakes.
I walked out of the kitchen to a knock at the door. I opened it to see Aiden.
"Yes?" I said, "uh...Hey.." He scratched the back of his neck. "Can we talk?" He blurted out, I stood there staring at him. really?!
