Chapter 31

~

Its been 2 months, 2 long months since I've seen Isaac. Deaton said I couldn't see him while he's trying to heal which pretty much sucked because today, well today Noah starts his first day of school and he's not going to be there.

I feel like Noah is going to disappointed since Isaac missed everything while Noah was growing up and he regrets it so badly but its not his fault. Its just that he's in a horrible place and he'll be in that horrible place for a long time because he's a werewolf.

"Are you ready?" I called out, standing by the door. "Yeah!" Noah ran out with his backpack on. I smiled opening the door and walking out to the car letting Noah climb in his seat and buckle himself since he learned how. I hurried getting in and driving to the closest school to our house.

I walked him inside and kneeled down to his height. "Hope you have a awesome first day, I'll be here to pick you up when school's over, okay? If you need anything tell the teacher." I kissed his forehead. He smiled, his small dimples poking out.

"Okay, I love you" He said and hugged me tightly, "I love you too" I let go and stood up watching him run inside to the other kids. I smiled walking to the car and driving home. I sat on the couch thinking of what to do because I don't have my little monster messing up stuff for me to clean up or asking me to play with him. So I have nothing to do other than watch tv or just stare at a wall.

I snapped out of my thoughts to my cell phone ringtone going off, I answered it quickly. "Hello?" I said tapping my fingers on my phone case while my phone is pressed to my ear. "Hello! I think Isaac is ready to come home." I heard Deaton's voice. I stood up. "Really?" I smiled.

"Yep. You can come over" I walked out to the car. "Thank you! Bye" I hung up getting in the car and driving over there very quickly. When I got there I walked inside to Isaac standing up and laughing with Deaton but soon his eyes locked with mine when he heard the bell ring once the door opens.

I smiled walking to him and hugged him tightly. "I missed you" He mumbled. "so much" he finished. I pulled away looking up at him then at Deaton who was smiling at us. "Thank you" I said towards him and he nodded walking out of the room.

"Where's Noah?.." He looked around and I stared at him, "Where is he?" He repeated worry in his voice. "At school. Today was his first day" I said quietly and he just nodded not saying another word, all he did was just walk out to my car and sit in it until I got in and started to drive.

"Wanna go out to lunch?" I glanced at him for a second then back at the road. "Sure" He murmured. "Isaac-" I started but soon got cut off. "I missed his birth, him crawling, his first word, his first steps, and now his first day of school... I missed everything." I glanced at him again seeing his eyes water.

"Babe, its not your fault." I rested my free hand on top of his trying to make him calm even though it sucks to think that you missed everything there is to see with your first child. I couldn't imagine being in that position. I felt bad for him, but he'll soon see his second child born and see them grow up. 

But he just needs to see that even though he missed the first 3 years of Noah's life, he can still see the rest... with me. I know that he always wanted a child, he always wanted to be there for them 24/7, to give them anything and everything they need, wanting to be the best father he can be but the werewolf life ruined it for him and he gets pissed off at himself and Derek for turning him.

and sometimes he thinks that he should be proud of the huge gift that was sent his way to protect him, for him to become stronger and stop being a scary cat. He needs to accept the fact that he can't take away this gift and its here to stay.. forever.

I stopped the car at a little restaurant that we used to go to back in high school with everyone. We'll always go on Friday nights and laugh over every little thing. We were all best friends and absolutely nothing couldn't separate us except for the saving the town part.

I turned off the car, putting the keys in my purse and got out walking around to the other side and grabbed Isaac's hand walking inside. The restaurant was really nice and pretty, it played light music in the backround and had a tv in mainly every corner of the room near the tables. The bar downstairs with people yelling at the game that's playing because their team is winning or loosing with their beers on the bar.

We sat down on the booth across from each other and waited there awkwardly. Silence filling the air but non of us wanted to break the awkwardness so we sat there watching the flat screen by our table quietly while the news played.

Then my eyes shot to the door as someone walked in, my eyes widen at the sight. The young pretty Sarah that everyone loved, her eyes searching through the place until it stops at Isaac, a smirk appearing on her face since she's had a huge and I mean HUGE crush on him.

Before she got bit she was a complete nerd and now a hottie which everyone drowls for. I snapped seeing the guys behind her. I gasped. Justin, Max, and Tom.
