Maya wakes up and groggily makes her way to the Matthews' kitchen. Topanga is there making breakfast, Auggie and Riley are already there patiently waiting for their food. Maya sits next to Riley.
"Mornin' Sleepyheads!" shouts Cory as he bounds in, clearly excited.
"What's got you so happy?" Topanga asks.
"Can ya guess?"
"Teacher's Day Off?"
"Nope. Team Bonding today." Cory says as he sits down.
"What is that?" Riley asks.
"It's where we have activities to help everyone get closer together," Cory replies eagerly.
"Like we need any more of that," Maya says sarcastically.
"Everyone needs more!" Riley says.
"Ok, Eggs and Toast for everyone!" Topanga says as she hands everyone food.
Maya takes her food and starts eating right away while Riley eats carefully, scared to find anything out of the ordinary since she hates change.
"What's wrong Maya?" Riley asks, clearly concerned.
"What do you mean?" Maya responds quickly.
"You've been quiet and sort of angry," Riley says scared of what reply she is going to get.
"I'm just uh.. really hungry."
Riley creases her forehead with worry but stays silent.
Everyone is silent throughout the meal.
