I looked around the cold, dark room. I could move, but the walls seemed to be getting closer. I tried to push against the walls, but almost burnt my hand because it was hot. It started getting hotter and hotter. Flames were rising, soon at my knees. Something from above fell on me, I was trapped on the floor. I looked up to a face that I recognised but couldn't put a name to. The face leaned down and whispered "I will never let you go, ever." The voice was warm and soothing, but also I couldn't put a name to it. The smoke was billowing overhead, I was choking, I couldn't breathe. I tried screaming.
"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!" I sat up screaming and gasping for air. It was a dream, a very bad dream. I got up and went to school.
--------------------------------------
I entered and sat down in the usual spot, still jittery from the dream.
"Hello there, Huckleberry." I said.
"Hey Shortstack. Whats the haps?" Lucas answered.
"Whats the haps? Seriously?"
"Just trying to be relevant to you city folks."
"Hey, guys. Why weren't you at Topanga's last night?" Riley asked.
"What are you ta-" I started to say, wildly confused.
"Maya just wanted to go home, so I took her home." Lucas cut me off.
"Oh, ok. But Lucas, you could've told me." Riley said twirling her hair and putting on a face pouty face. I rolled my eyes. She tries so hard, but just can't flirt, it's sorta sad.
"Alright class," Mr. Matthews said, "today we will have a partner project."
Riley glanced at Lucas, trying to get him to partner with her.
"I will choose your partners." Mr. Matthews said. "Now, Zay and Smackle, Sarah and John, Darby and Sarah, Lucas and Maya, Farkle and Riley. You must work together to make a presentation about your childhood. Due Tomorrow."
Riley looked very dissapointed, but Farkle and Lucas looked very excited.
Rrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggggg
