"I want to give you something." Lucas said as we entered his room. He went over to his closet and pulled out a charm bracelet with 2 charms.

"This is Maya Hart's charm bracelet. There are 2 charms on it. The first is a cowgirl hat, resembling our nicknames." I giggled, "The second is a heart to resemble my undying love for you." 

"Did you get that off the internet?" I asked, giggling.

"Possibly." He got down one one knee, I felt a tear leak out from my eye. He took my hand.

"Maya Penelope Hart, will you be my girlfriend?"

This is a lot to take in. But I love him. I always had, so. What changed?                                             Something is stopping me.. But I love him, don't I?

"Yes. Yes Lucas, I will.

He picked me up in a hug and spun me around. He put me down and put the charm bracelet around my wrist, which was caked in dried blood.

"Oh! Let's clean this up, shall we?" He said while pulling me to his bathroom. While he was dressing my wound, I couldn't help but notice the way his hands carefully tended to my wrists, or his brows furrowed in concentration. He was hot. He finished and looked into my eyes. I looked into his emerald green eyes, getting lost in their beauty. He cupped my face with his hands as our faces were getting closer and closer until our lips were touching. We stood there kissing until we couldn't breathe.
