Chapter 5 ~ Water Bottles and Beach Encounters

Levy's POV

   I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of Lucy's soft snoring across the room, and rolled over to my side. I groaned, feeling sleepy, but not able to sleep.

I hugged the pillow I was holding tighter as if it would help me sleep better, surprise surprise, it didn't.

   After what seemed like hours of tossing and turning, I decided I would go downstairs to get some water. We bought bottled water on the way here ,and when we arrived, immediately put it in the fridge.

   I knew since there were boys (Here come dat boi *insert deal with it glasses*) also sleeping in this hotel, 'room', I had to put on pants.

   I usually just slept in a long baggy t-shirt, but I had fuzzy pajama pants for winter when it got cold in Magnolia. Should I put on a bra? ...na... I thought.

   There's probably no one else up anyway, I'll be fine, and if there is someone, this shirt hides the fact that I'm not. I checked my self once more in the mirror before heading down. I had major bed head, but it was dark and you could barely see your hand in front of your face.

   Finally, I went down stairs, to grab a bottle of water, my socks sliding on the hard wood stairs.

   When I got down, I went to the fridge and opened the bottom right drawer, and as swiftly and quietly as I could, I got the water bottle. After doing so I turned to head upstairs, except a very large muscly figure, with long black hair blocked the way.

Great.... This'll be fun. I thought, completely recognizing the shadowy person in front of me as Gajeel.

   Considering the fact that I liked him, this was going to be an interesting conversation. I know you must be wondering how the heck I fell in love the iron headed idiot. Well, it's a long story, so sit down and let me tell you.

   To be perfectly honest I didn't like him when he first joined Fairy Tail, heck, I could barely stand him. He was the guy who kinda nailed me to a tree, so... You see my reasoning.

   But the day he blocked Laxus' lightening bolt, and took shots he could of easily dodged, just so he could be accepted, changed my views. I knew he didn't protect me because he had feelings for me, but a part of me hoped he did.

   I haven't looked at him the same way since that day, and yes, I realize it's foolish of me to love him, but I can't help it. Even if I have absolutely no chance with him, I still love the moron.

   Back to my current awkward situation, I blushed immensely, realizing I didn't have a bra on.... Because I'm stubborn and lazy.

   And momentarily after that, I blushed even harder, realizing that he didn't have a shirt on. I'm pretty sure I'm beaming red, hopefully the darkness hides that I'm blushing ear to ear.

   I sighed, "Can you please move so I can go upstairs?"

Gajeel's POV

   I saw a small figure walk past my door, and decided to investigate. Worst decision of my life.

   I headed over to the entrance to the stairs and waited for them to notice me. As this mysterious person walked up to me, I could see the irritation in their face...

   I saw the figure blush, then blush even harder a few seconds later and sigh, "Can you please move so I can go upstairs?" It said.

   I'd recognize that voice anywhere, Levy. Well crap. I thought.
