I've never met someone who just doesn't like music.
Seriously, if you have, tell me! (No, deaf/ tone deaf people do not count.)
Liking a certain type of music doesn't make you good or bad, cool or uncool. If you listen to pop, that's great, whatever makes you happy! But don't go hating on country lovers, what's the point? You aren't going to change them. We all have different musical tastes; it doesn't affect who we are.
A theory of mine: Our musical tastes come from our backgrounds, experiences, and personality.
Nearly every bio you see on Wattpad has a section dedicated to favorite music. I'm still waiting to see one that says, "I don't like music." And I think that says something.
So why? I don't really know - I suppose music fills some sort of void in our lives. It helps us express ourselves, or sometimes it's just a distraction.
Either way, music is a funny thing.
