It was just your average day here at the Matthews' apartment, Topanga was making supper, Cory was reading the news paper and grading papers, Auggie was with Ava on a "play date" ( as so they called it ), and Riley and Maya were in the bay window talking. "Hey Cory, Josh called today to let us know that he will be staying with us for a couple of weeks before he starts college at NYU," said Topanga. "Sounds good, when will he be here?" asked Cory. Just then the door opened and the youngest Matthews brother entered the apartment. "Hey family," said Josh. "My brotha!" said Cory. "My brotha!" said Josh in reply. After Cory and Josh got done bro hugging Auggie came running down the stairs. "Uncle Josh!" yelled Auggie. "Auggie!" Josh yelled back. "How've you been little man?" Josh asked Auggie. "Oh I've been just great, I have a girlfriend now." said Auggie. "Oh boy," said Topanga. Josh laughed. "You came just in time for dinner," Topanga said. "Riley, Maya suppers ready!" Topanga yelled upstairs to the girls. The girls were finally downstairs. "Boing." was the first thing Maya said when she seen Josh. "Maya that's my uncle," Riley said. "Sweet I'd get to be your aunt," Maya said. "You are not going to be my aunt." Riley
replied. "Uncle Josh," Riley said as she was giving Josh a hug. "Hey Riley," said Josh. "Uncle Josh," Maya said as she grabbed him for a hug. "Uh I'm not your uncle Maya." Josh said. "Even better," Maya replied with a devious smile. "It-It's been a while." said Josh. "Sure has," Maya replied. "Well boy you grew up gorgeous," Josh said as he looked Maya up and down then walked away. Maya had a big smile on her face. "You are not going to be my aunt." said Riley.
