Robin was mumbling to himself as He and Harry walked out into the field, towards the path, it had been about a week of them trying their best to walk down the whole of that path back to the house, but every time they get even just barely into the path, only about a mile, they would pass out and end up back where they started.
"Harry, I don't want to be a downer, But this is becoming hopeless..." Robin sighed and Harry glanced back at him "well....it's the only idea I've got right now, so if you've got anything better, by all means, share." He grunted.
Robin hugged himself "Sorry, I've got nothing..." He sighed as they walked down into the covered path.
Harry simply nodded "okay, then we'll just have to keep trying until we come up with something different..." He said determinedly.
After awhile, Robin braced himself for the disappointment of them waking up back at the start when they neared the mile point.
But he relaxed a little when nothing happened "?..." He looked around in confusion as they were able to continue walking, until they reached the clearing the house was placed in, a decent sized, yellow house.
Harry walked up to the door, and was a bit hesitant to open it, but as they walked in, everything in the hall seemed perfectly normal, minus a table being knocked over..
As they walked towards the living room no activity seemed to be occurring in the house, no faint shuffling, no lessons being taught, the only sound was their footsteps.
"D...Donnie? Hello?..." Robin called out quietly, eyes wide and alight with hope and worry for their friend.
Harry looked around the living room, the only thing different was the fact that the tv had been knocked down and broken, and by broken he doesn't mean: 'Oh it just fell on the ground and the screen broke' kind of broken.
He means, toppled over, screen utterly destroyed and sides beat in.
Jeez, whether it was Donnie or not, someone does NOT like Tv..
Harry walked into the kitchen, Robin being a little hesitant to follow, he revolted at what he saw, chunks of rotting meat everywhere, and little spots of dried blood.
Numerous cans with now unintelligible labels on the floor and counter tops, bashed and beat to almost obliteration.
Robin winced at the sight and kept a fair distance from the scene as Harry looked around "Donnie?..." He called and hummed, the fridge was missing?...
Odd.
Harry shook his head and Robin almost immediately walked towards the hall, eager to be out of the kitchen as they went down the hallway towards the bed room and computer room.
They stopped by the computer room first, when they glanced in, everything was straight and neat, but the computer was gone.
Harry shut the door as Robin fiddled with his fingers, the only room left to check was the bedroom....so he had to be in there, right?...
Where else could he be?..
Robin walked towards the bed room door and gently knocked on it, but it creaked open, the door hadn't been shut all the way.
He Peeked inside "Donnie?..." He called softly as he opened the door more, the room was spotless, save for a black stain on the floor by Donnie's bed and the fact that his bed wasn't made.
Donnie wasn't there.
Harry looked inside as well "what the?....where the hell else could he be?..." He whispered and gripped the door as Robin walked in and started looking in all the beds, not caring about the mess he made "D-Donnie?!" He said, now frantic as worry took over.
What if they killed him?
Is he dead?
Oh god we left him here ALONE How could we?
He must've been so scared..
Robin felt tears come to him at the thought of little Donnie being in this damn house alone, who knows what terrible things happened to him.
He felt a pair of Strong, Steady hands on his shoulders, making him realize he hand hunched over, hyperventilating and crying.
The green haired male looked up with big watery eyes at his Tall, Concerned looking friend "Robin? Are you okay?" He asked
This question didn't settle well with Robin.
Robin clenched his teeth "am I okay?...." He whispered and stood up straight to look Harry dead in the face.
"Am I OKAY?!" He shouted at his friend and shoved him slightly "DONNIE IS PROBABLY DEAD, WE LEFT HIM ALONE, AND YOUR ASKING IF I'M OKAY?!" He cried, punching his friend in the chest, though it was a weak punch.
Harry grunted and pulled back "Yeesh, Calm down Robin, I just thought I'd ask." He said Cooly as Tears streamed down the unamused, short Males face.
"Well, maybe next time you shouldn't." He snapped and stomped past Harry, leaving him a little baffled, Robin doesn't usually snap.
Harry quietly followed his upset friend with crossed arms and narrowed eyes "Sorry, For feeling concern." He grunted and Robin lashed a glare at him.
"Whatever Harry.." He looked down and balled his hands into fists as they walked into the kitchen, Robin looked up at the mess and the tears only kept coming as he quietly reached and gripped his stomach.
Harry looked down at him, and was about to ask again, if he was okay, but he shut his mouth and just quietly walked past him.
Robin stared at the scene for awhile longer before Harry called from the entrance hallway "Robin? You wanna come look at this?" He asked.
Robin blinked and shook his head, tearing his eyes away from the messy scene and walked after Harry "What is it?" He sighed and looked over.
Harry looked at him and closed the door slightly, just enough for Robin to see the inside of it and his eyes widened a little, the door looked like it had been through years of neglect, it had been kicked, it looked like heavy items had been thrown at it, the doorknob was loose and shifted and jingled if you tried to turn it.
"This thing looks like someone was trying Awful hard to get out..." Harry sighed and looked it over, "but that's not the part im interested in." He added.
Robin frowned "then what?" He asked and crossed his arms.
Harry turned and nodded to the window down a hall way that lead to the bathroom and some closets, it had been broken and shattered, a bit of blood sprinkling it, like the person who had broken it, had scraped themselves on the broken glass.
Robins eyes widened and he walked towards it a little bit, the closer he got the more he could tell that someone had jumped OUT and hadn't broken it from the outside, pieces weren't on the floor, but plenty covered the ledge, and when he climbed up, wincing when glass dug into his skin, ignoring Harry's: "Be careful there." To look out the window.
Pieces of glass had shattered down the slope outside the window, and there was some blood on the grass, sadly not fresh, and didn't seem to have much of a trail, much to Robins disappointment.
As the shorter of the two climbed back down and brushed the glass off, Harry sighed a little "well, kinda wish I didn't have to admit it, but you were right."
"This was hopeless.."
