Harry was quite as he laid back in his old bed, looking over silently at the sleeping Donnie and Robin, his eyes glued to them as they slept.
Donnie was silent, in a deep sleep though he twitched from time to time as he shifted a little.
But Robin was twitching rapidly, sometimes almost thrashing violently as he whimpered in what sounded like pain, and Harry sighed as he looked at the green haired male.
Harry slowly got up and out of his bed, glancing at Donnie to make sure he didn't wake the teenager up as he walked up to Robins bed quietly.
Harry stared down at Robin for minute before flushing and grumbling, he probably would've looked like a total creep if someone walked in right now.
He slowly sighed and ran his fingers trough his hair as he thoughtfully pondered something, before stiffened when he saw Robin start to cry as he trembled in his feverish sleep.
Harry immediately reached out to wipe the shorter mans tears away, and Robin flinched a little in his sleep as Harrys fingers came into contact with his cheek.
The red head was distracted as he sighed once more, looking down at the now relaxing Robin, like just a small touch was soothing the smaller ones nightmares.
He slowly moved his hand away, but then stiffened when Robin slowly stirred and his blue eyes fluttered open "h-...hm?...Harry?.." He groaned groggily as he looked up at the taller male standing over him.
Harry flinched "e-eh! Sorry, it's just, you...you started crying! And-" he stopped and shoved his hands into his pockets "I..I didn't know what to do..." He grumbled as he looked at Robin.
Robin slowly sat up and yawned, rubbing his eyes, and pulled his hands away to notice them damp "oh...I guess I did start crying..." He said softly and he frowned "guess that's just what this place does to us...right?...." He said and looked down.
Harry frowned a little "don't think like that, okay? It's not like we'll be in here forever, we got out once, we'll find another way out again." He said firmly and sat down by the green hired male, who moved over to make room for Harry.
Robin sighed "I know...you've told me that.." He said as they say together on the bed, it starting to grow silent, the only sound being Donnie's slight grunts and shifts in his sleep from time to time.
Harry slowly started to shift awkwardly as he sat next to his friend, "There's something have to s-" they both cut off, both burning red when they realized they spoke at the same time "u-...uh! I'm sorry, you first.." Harry said and shifted to look at the smaller male.
Robin shifted and took a deep breath "Harry, god I'm really sorry.." He whispered and fiddled awkwardly with the collar of his shirt, and Harry frowned "why?...what are you sorry for?.." He asked.
As the red head looked on Robin looked about ready to cry "for ignoring you....ma-making you feel like you needed to move out..." He whispered and buried his face into his blankets.
Harry smiled slightly "hey...don't feel bad, okay? It's my fault you were avoiding me anyways..." He sighed and looked away, and Robin flinched "what? No! No! It wasn't your fault!" He whispered "It's my fault, I shouldn't have gotten so awkward over....over....what happened that night..." He said and looked at Harry with shining eyes.
Robin then looked away "even if it was awkward, I shouldn't have avoided you.." He whispered and ran his fingers through his hair, and Harry gripped the blankets below him and he murmured "no, it was my fault, it was me wh-"
Robin cut him off "but it was me who suggested going out that night in the first place!" He said, regret lacing his voice.
Harry shifted and looked at him "Robin, I'm sorry, if What I did made everything wrong between us...." He said, and Robin opened his mouth but Harry added "I don't want it to..." He said softly.
Robin's eyes widened as the taller one swiftly, and carefully pulled him into a hug, leaving him speechless for a moment, before he returned the hugged quietly " I don't want it to either..." He whispered back.
Robin pulled away slightly, just enough to look up at him "Harry?..." He sighed softly, and Harry hummed "what?.." The red head murmured.
"I'm going to tell you something, and I just want you to promise...promise me it won't make things awkward." Robin begged softly, gripping Harrys sleeves.
Harry tilted his head slightly "okay...I promise you." He said softly, and Robin took a deep breath as a flush spread across his face.
"I....I love you..." Robin whispered, and refused to make eye contact with Harry, who had stayed silent for a few moments before whispering four words that just about made Robin squeal.
"I love you too.." The head head said softly, and squeezed Robin close to his chest, hugging the small male tight, who quickly returned the embrace with a happy smile.
The duo stayed like that for the rest of the night, though Harry didn't sleep, as he was silently watching the green haired make in his arms sleep, much more peacefully then he had been earlier.
Harry sighed softly, and while he was happy that he and Robin were finally where he wanted them to be with each other, he felt dread twist and coil in his gut as he listened to the sounds of his friends sleeping, and couldn't help but feel like something far worse then receiving lessons was going to happen.
