Donnie was beaming happily as he lead his friends down a beaten path, towards one of his favorite spots in the whole town, which actually wasn't far from where Shrig, Gilbert, and Larry lived.

Robin and Harry were silent the whole trip, unless they were answering a question Donnie asked them every once and a while.

Donnie sighed a little as he looked up, past the thick canopy of leaves, he tried to think of what to say that could open his friends up.

The teen looked out on the trail and then glanced back at his friends, who were trying to keep a reasonable distance from each other, and smiled a little.

"So! What exactly did you guys do while we were apart hm? I want to full sweep." He chuckled and fell into step beside them instead of being In front, and Robin looked at him in a bit of confusion.

"Well....we met up again...and we lived together for awhile.." He mumbled "we both got jobs.." Harry added with a small glance at the two "after we met the teachers...we started to get to know them I suppose..."

Robin nodded "mhm, and we just kinda...laid low for awhile....we tried to find you, but of course...we didn't..." He chuckled weakly.

Donnie nodded "okay, what did you guys do in your spare time besides work and looking for me? Did anything exciting happen, like with the teachers or anything?" He asked casually.

Harry looked at him and raised an eyebrow "No?.." He said quietly and walked beside him as they got closer and closer to their destination.

Robin looked at Donnie in confusion as the teen silently nodded and walked ahead of them, his eyes distant and thoughtful.

Harry was still frowning as Donnie mumbled "so! Did you guys do anything fun then?" He asked and shrugged, Robin fiddled with his fingers.

Robin mumbled softly "no. Not really.." He said and looked up as they walked out of the bushes, and the woods opened up to a beautiful lake, Harry and Robins eyes widened, and started to sparkle

Donnie grinned "I thought you two would like this!" He said and grabbed his friends hands and started to run towards the lake shore, leaving them to stumble after him.

They stopped by the shore and Donnie grinned happily "Heh!~" he hummed and let go of his friends hands, in favor of shoving them into his pockets.

Harry and Robin looked out at the lake in awe, then slowly looked at each other, and Robin opened his mouth to say something, but he quickly closed it and looked away.

The redhead seemed a little disappointed as he quietly looked back at the lake as well, Donnie felt frustration boil in his stomach as the two went silent once more.

'So close!' He thought in annoyance as he crossed his arms and looked out at the lake with a soft sigh, his eyes growing tired.

Robin walked closer to the teen and smiled at him "thanks for bringing us here Donnie, it really is quiet beautiful." He said and patted the younger male on the shoulder.

Donnie looked at him and frowned, but then quickly smiled "oh! Not a problem!" He said and laughed a little, Harry silently stood on the other side of him.

But as the three stood in silence, staring at the lake, Donnie could feel the tension grow, he slowly grew stiff and hugged himself, looking down at the ground.

Harry noticed the Teens downcast attitude and frowned, since he had seemed so energetic this morning. "Donnie,...are you okay?.." He asked and put a hand on his shoulder.

Donnie but his lip and finally broke, the tension starting to make him feel sick. "No I'm not okay." He snapped, making Harry pull his hand back and Robin quickly looked at him with wide eyes.

"And neither are you two!" He snapped at them, stepping back to look at them both "you both are hiding things from me!" He shouted and glared, tears starting to gather in his eyes.

Harry frowned "Donnie, look, we may be hiding things from you, but it's for the best, not to mention it's none of your business." He said calmly.

"None of my business?!" Donnie demanded, sneering at the redhead as he balled his hands into fists, a tear rolling down his face "You guys are ignoring each other, you two used to be best friends!" He said, Robin slowly started to gain a guilty look.

"Look, Donnie, it's not important okay?...don't worry about it!" Robin said and smiled softly, trying to gently place a hand on Donnie's shoulder, but He just jerked away and looked at them with wide, Desperate eyes.

"Please! Why won't you to tell me anything?!" He said and more tears fell off his chin, Harrys eyes narrowed "Because, like I stated, it's none of your business okay?" The red head said Cooly and looked away.

Donnie glared at him "It is my business!" He said and looked back and forth from Robin to Harry "Why is it such a problem that I want to help you?!" He demanded.

Robin shifted awkwardly "Well...I-it's just....you may not understand." He said and smiled weakly, trying to stay calm between his two arguing friends.

Donnies eyes were instantly full of pride and anger "Are you telling me I'm to stupid to understand?!" He nearly yelled at his green haired friend, who flinched back.

Harry started to grind his teeth together in anger "Actually yes!" He said and pointed a finger at the teen "you've always been to stupid to understand what's gone on around you." The red heads eyes were dark, while Robin and Donnie's were wide.

"H-Harry!" Robin shouted at him, now starting to get angry himself at the red head, who only ignored the shorter male "You've never understood why we were in that house in the first place, why We were picked off one by one, oh right! Because your creepy ass father is a psychopath!" Harry screamed in rage.

Robin quickly shoved the red head hard enough to make him stumble and shouted "Harry, that's enough!" He said and clenched his teeth.

As the two older ones caught their breath, they looked up and flinched back a little, Donnie was staring at them with wide, dead eyes, a look that reminded them a little to much of his father.

But soon Donnie shoved his hands into his pockets and looks away, and Harry came to the realization of what he had done. "Hey, I'm sorry.." The red head started off but Donnie lashed a cold glare at him.

"Sorry, That I just wanted to help." He sneered at the two and started to walk away, shoulders hunched and Robin quickly followed "Donnie! D-Donnie wait!" He called, leaving Harry alone by the lake.
