Robin was swiftly running down the hall way, his feet making soft putter pattering sounds as he yanked open the basement door, nearly flying down the stairs.

He gripped the knife in his hand tightly as he could hear feet pounding after him, he knew two of those pairs of feet would be Roy, and Harry.

Harry wasn't content with the plan Robin had secretly put together and Robin knew it. But he was bound and determined to do it anyways, as long as everyone else was safe after it was over.

He bolted threw the room towards the door at the other side, and he tried to pry it open.

locked as he had expected.

He scowled as he heard the footsteps getting closer, he quickly threw all his weight against the door and fell into the other side, coughing at all the dust in the air as he quickly got to his feet again.

He raced down the hall way and into the main room, where the computer stood. The computer that controlled the teachers and kept the house intact and locked.

He looked around frantically for the power source of the main frame computer, and within moments he spotted a wall plug a few feet away from the computer.

He started to run towards the cord, hearing the pounding footsteps behind him getting louder and louder, his heart was racing and it almost felt like time itself was slowing down.

Robin gripped the knife in one hand and his chest with the other as he tried not to let his fear get the best of him and make him hesitate.

He couldn't afford to hesitate, there was no backing out now, not with so many precious lives on the line.

Right Before he could reach the plug, he could feel something grab at the back of his shirt, and he flung his head around to see who it was, it was Roy, scowling at him as he gripped Robins jacket.

Robin knew that Roy wasn't going to stop, he was never going to stop following them, he was never going to stop torturing them as long as he was alive. He had known this from the start, who wouldn't have known?

He had kept it in mind from the very beginning but was never sure what to do. Now. Now he was sure as he whipped out the knife he was wielding, and swung it.

He Swung it right into the power plug.

Robin clenched his teeth and squeezed his eyes shut tight as he felt fireworks go off in his body as the electrical current shot through him, he knew Roy could feel it too, he hadn't let go in time to avoid getting shocked.

After the jolts and shocks stopped, Robin and Roy went limp, in a last few moments, he could hear Harry running towards them, wailing.

Robin could almost smile, wasn't this humorous? So many other things he could've done to avoid death yet solve the problem.

Yet he chose this, he chose to go out like this, today. He could've lived on, gone to school, gotten married, seen Donnie go through the rest of school, and grown old with his love and his friends.

But quick thinking had gotten the better of him he supposed, his world was darkening now, his eyes were closing, the ringing and wailing in his ears starting to fade out as he could feel Harry pick him up into his arms.

He looked up at Harry and put on a shaky smile, probably didn't help much, Harry was crying as he gripped Robin tightly.

Robin gripped a handful of Harry's shirt and pulled himself up shakily, bringing his other hand up to cup Harry's cheek as he pressed a small kiss to Harry's lips. Before letting himself sink back into Harry's arms as Harry went still, going into shock.

Robin chuckled weakly, he could hear Harry choke up and start to ramble on and on about how he would be okay, how they would all be okay.

He knew he was lying to Robin and himself.

Robin finally let his eyes close and he let the darkness engulf him as Harry shook him frantically. It was almost comforting after everything that had happened.

It's Finally Over.
